Summary

  • One Elden Ring player has beaten Consort Radahn at RL1 without using a single Scadutree Fragment.
  • They didn't take a single hit, nor did they parry or use any buffs. It took them a staggering three days to pull this off, with the fight lasting around seven minutes.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree's final boss is tough. So tough that going back to Malenia is a breath of fresh air. But while we're all struggling with Consort Radahn, throwing ourselves at him for hours on end, one fan beat him at Rune Level One without using a single Scadutree Fragment.

They did this by making a save file with the penultimate Site of Grace already unlocked, essentially skipping the DLC. So, it's not a true RL1 run, but beating a boss as hard as Consort Radahn with such low stats is still an incredibly impressive feat. Especially considering that they didn't get hit once.

Elden Ring Fans Are Challenging This Player To Up The Ante

As if RL1, no Scadutree Fragments, no hits, and no parries or buffs weren't hard enough, commenters are already asking them to do all sorts of even worse challenge runs.

While this defeat might put us to shame, it took them a staggering three days to pull off.

"Now this is true skill," wrote one fan. "Incredible work my friend. Unarmed bare fists run when".

"Still using a weapon I see?" another chimed in. "Casual."

Right before Radahn, there's another infamously difficult boss, Leda and friends.

It's essentially a group of NPC invaders, so you're being ganked something fierce unless you also enlist help. Quite frankly, I struggled with Leda more than I did Radahn, but fans are now asking OP to go back and beat them since they used a save editor skip.

"If you want, I'll go beat Leda and her gang on this save, just for you," they replied. Good luck. At least with Radahn you're only focused on the one enemy.

Others suggest doing the same fight against Radahn at New Game Plus Seven, the hardest NG+ difficulty in the game. Maybe we should just celebrate this victory and leave the poor sap alone.
