Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree - Every Map Fragment Location

Elden Ring map is huge, and it's not all displayed for you initially. You need to discover map fragments to have the region displayed on the map so you can navigate through it better. This is the same case in Shadow of the Erdtree, where you still need to find map fragments to uncover the map and see what you are exploring.

In this expansion, you have a few map fragments to find in order to fully uncover the map. However, some of these are not clear at all on how to get to them, and some are even very tricky to reach. This guide will help you find all of them.

Gravesite Plain Map Fragment Location

This is the first and easiest map fragment you can obtain for the Gravesite Plain. Upon teleporting to the Realm of Shadows, simply head north from the first Site of Grace there, and you'll find it waiting to be picked up.

Scadu Atlus Map Fragment Location

The second map fragment, which you will likely encounter next, is for Scadu Atlus and is located northeast of the previous one. To reach it, you must first journey through Castle Ensis and defeat Rellana, the Twin Moon Knight.

Once you've emerged from the castle, you'll take your first steps into Scadu Atlus. Just a few steps ahead, you'll find the fragment waiting to be collected.

Rauh Ruins Map Fragment Location

The third map fragment you should aim for is located northwest of your current position at Rauh Ruins. To get there, head east where you'll come across a small body of surface water. Just north of this water, there's a cave entrance nestled in the mountainside, which is easy to miss.

Enter the cave and proceed until you find yourself in a poison swamp. From there, head west until you reach a Site of Grace; make sure to activate it to save yourself from retracing your steps. From the Site of Grace, continue forward cautiously, watching out for two golem enemies along the way, until you reach the map fragment.

Southern Shore Map Fragment Location

Now, for the fourth map fragment, once you've reached Cerulean Coast, which we've already covered here, simply head south from the first Site of Grace there. You'll soon come across the map fragment waiting to be found.

Abyss Map Fragment Location

This will likely be the final map fragment you can pick up, and reaching it can be tricky, but we have the details you need. Assuming you've already explored Shadow Keep, head to the Store House First Floor Site of Grace and backtrack, taking the elevator back down. Once outside, head left after descending the stairs and soon you'll find a ladder leading downwards.

Follow the ladder down, then take the path to the left through the water and descend another ladder. Continue forward until you reach a room with a painting. In this room, there's an illusionary wall to your right—attack it and proceed until you find a coffin. Interact with the coffin to access a new area below Shadow Keep.

Follow the path south along the waterfall until you reach a dungeon called Darklight Catacombs. Navigate through this dungeon to its end, where you'll have to face Jori, Elder Inquisitor.

After defeating Jori, you'll gain access to the Abyssal Woods. This area is notably challenging within the DLC: Torrent travel is unavailable, a specific enemy type will relentlessly pursue you if spotted, and there's a high risk of receiving the Madness status effect.

The map fragment is located southeast of the Abyssal Woods, so best of luck in reaching it!
