Summary
- Elden Ring Nightreign will launch in three months on May 30.
- Meanwhile, the closed network test begins on February 14 and runs until February 17.
Two months after it was announced at The Game Awards 2024, we finally have a release date for Elden Ring Nightreign — May 30.
If you've been sleeping in a dungeon guarded by a Pumpkin Head for the last two months, this new spin-off helmed by director Junya Ishizaki (Bloodborne designer and Dark Souls 3 lead game designer) takes Elden Ring's core open world and Sekiro's more fluid movement and splices them together into a roguelite with battle royale inspirations. Every match is random, split across three days with a final boss for each, while a Fortnite-style circle closes in.

The Closed Network Test Begins In Two Days
While we eagerly await the game's full launch, we have the closed network test to look forward to. Beginning in just two days on February 14, those lucky enough to be accepted will get the chance to try out Nightreign during several scheduled sessions across four days.
Those sessions take place during the following windows:
February 14
- 11am to 2pm GMT
- 3am to 6am GMT
February 15
- 7pm to 10pm GMT
February 16
- 11am-2pm GMT
- 3am-6am GMT
Within three years, we'll have had Elden Ring, Armored Core 6, Shadow of the Erdtree, and Nightreign.
Nightreign can only be played in groups of three, but if you're only playing in a pair during the network test, you can still queue online and find a random player to complete the set.
