Elden Ring: Every Glintstone Crown And Where To Find It

Summary
- There are nine Glintstone Crowns in Elden Ring and some of them are hidden in mysterious places or blocked behind quests.
- Many crowns are useful for increasing your stats, and the Twinsage Glintstone Crown gives you six Intelligence.
- Lusat’s Glintstone Crown is probably the most annoying to get, but useful if you use Stars of Ruin sorceries.
The Glintstone Crowns of Elden Ring are known for their easily-recognizable, unique appearance, but there’s much more to them than that. Each one provides some sort of stat bonus in exchange for a statistical loss somewhere else, generally favoring Sorcerer builds.
RelatedElden Ring: 10 Best Erdtree Incantations
Much more useful than other types of spells, the Erdtree Incantations will let you deal significant damage while also healing yourself in a great way.
PostsThe Crowns are also used to get into certain locations by performing the Erudition Gesture while wearing them (although there are several notable exceptions to this rule). Whatever your personal reason might be for wanting one of these unusual fashion choices, this list will help you find the perfect fit.
The Azur's, Haima, Hierodas, and Lusat's Glintstone Crowns will not work with the Erudition Gesture.
9 Olivinus Glintstone Crown
Pro
Increase Intelligence by three.
Con
Reduces HP by about ten percent.
The Olivinus Glintstone Crown is looted off of a corpse in Raya Lucaria Academy. If you start at the Schoolhouse Classroom Site of Grace, then turn left, you'll find yourself in a room with both a spell Scroll and a crafting Cookbook.
The wall behind the scroll is a false one; behind it is a small balcony. Leap over the railing to the left onto a ledge, then follow it until you reach a rocky outcropping. Scale it, and you’ll eventually be able to jump to a ledge overlooking the area where you can find Thops’ final resting place. There, on a different corpse, you can pick up the Olivinus Glintstone Crown.
8 Karolos Glintstone Crown
Pro
Increase Intelligence by three.
Con
Reduces Stamina by about ten percent.
Compared to some of the other Helms on this list, picking up the Karolos Glintstone Crown is a breeze. You start at the Debate Parlor Site of Grace in the Academy of Raya Lucaria, then head out into the courtyard.
If you walk forward enough, you’ll soon be attacked by an Abductor Virgin. Either kill or evade it, then head to the area where it was lurking. Turn left, and you’ll find a Crystalized Crab hiding in the bushes. Kill it, and the Karolos Glintstone Crown will be yours.
7 Lazuli Glintstone Crown
Pro
Increase Intelligence and Dexterity by three.
Con
Reduces HP by about 18 percent.
Reaching the Lazuli Glintstone Crown requires leaping across the rooftops of Raya Lucaria Academy. If you haven’t been there before, you’ll need to enter the courtyard from the Debate Parlor Site of Grace and brave the Sorcerers on the left, eventually jumping over a railing.
RelatedElden Ring: 9 Best Golden Order Incantations
This type of Incantations is one of the most diverse you can use in the Lands Between. Both in terms of abilities and quality.
PostsTravel far enough, and you should be able to see a tower filled with broken wooden platforms in the distance. To your left is a jump that looks almost impossible. Make it, and continue on to the tower. Partway down is a Crystalized Crab that drops the Lazuli Glintstone Crown.
6 Twinsage Glintstone Crown
Pro
Increase Intelligence by six.
Con
Reduces HP and Stamina by about ten percent.
The Twinsage Glintstone Crown is dropped by a Crystalized Crab located just outside the second floor of the Church of the Cuckoo, in Raya Lucaria Academy. It’s tucked away between a balcony railing and some scaffolding.
You can originally reach the location by traversing the Raya Lucaria rooftops, then dropping down onto the scaffolding from above. If you’ve already unlocked the ladder that functions as a shortcut, you can use it to go straight to the second floor from the Church of the Cuckoo Site of Grace.
5 Haima Glintstone Crown
Pro
Increase Intelligence and Strength by two.
Con
Reduces FP by about ten percent.
The Haima Glintstone Crown is worn by the Battlemage enemies you can find all across the Lands Between. However, it doesn’t drop from all of them. Instead, you have to kill a specific Battlemage, who drops the entire Battlemage Set.
This enemy in question is standing on a rocky outcropping just north of the collapsed bridge, where you can find Goldmask in the Altus Plateau. There’s more than one way to get there, but the easiest route is probably to start at the Windmill Village Site of Grace, then follow the road northwest.
4 Hierodas Glintstone Crown
Pro
Increase Intelligence and Endurance by two.
Con
Reduces FP by about ten percent.
The Hierodas Glintstone Crown is worn by Errant Sorcerer Wilhelm, who you can invade alongside Recusant Bernhal in Leyndell. To actually get the Crown, though, you’ll need to reach the Hermit Village, in Mt. Gelmir.
Start at the Seethwater River Site of Grace in the Altus Plateau, then follow the river until you reach Fort Laidd. From there, continue looping around the mountain and you will eventually find the village. The Hierodas Glintstone Crown is on a corpse behind one of the houses. You can also pick up the rest of the Errant Sorcerer’s Set elsewhere in the village.
3 Witch’s Glintstone Crown
Pro
Increase Intelligence and Arcane by three.
Con
Reduces Stamina by about 18 percent.
The Witch's Glintstone Crown is one of the first Glintstone Crowns most players will encounter, as it’s worn by Sorceress Sellen. You can get it in one of two ways, depending on how you finish her questline. Once you reach the final confrontation at Rennala’s boss room, you can either side with Sellen or Jerren.
RelatedElden Ring: Every Death Sorcery, Ranked
Let's get it out of the way: Death Sorceries might be the worst spells in Elden Ring. But hey, at least a few are interesting enough.
PostsThere are pros and cons to both options, but you get the Crown either way. If you side with Jerren, the Crown will drop upon Sellen’s death. If you side with Sellen instead, you can pick up the Crown next to her final, unfortunate form.
2 Azur’s Glintstone Crown
Pro
Increase the damage of the Comet Azur, Glintstone Cometshard, and Comet Sorceries by about ten percent.
Con
All Sorceries cost about 15 percent more.
The first time you’ll find Primeval Sorcerer Azur is during Sellen’s questline. He is located at the end of the path that loops around Mt. Gelmir, past Fort Laiedd and the Hermit Village. When you first meet him, he gives you Comet Azur, a powerful Sorcery, but getting his Helm will take a while longer.
You’ll have to finish Sellen’s questline in her favor; that is, by helping her defeat Jerren. Then, head back to where you found Azur. In place of his body, you can now find Azur's Glintstone Crown, along with the rest of his armor set.
1 Lusat’s Glintstone Crown
Pro
Increase the damage of the Stars of Ruin Sorceries by about ten percent.
Con
All Sorceries cost about 15 percent more.
Getting the Helms on this list requires varying levels of effort, but finding Lusat's Glintstone Crown involves a truly Kafkaesque series of steps. At a certain point in Sorceress Sellen's questline, she will give you a key to reach Lusat. He can be found deep within the Sellia Hideaway, a location that is difficult to find in and of itself; it’s located behind an illusory wall northeast of the Church of the Plague, guarded by a lone Battlemage.
The first time you get to him, Lusat will give you the Stars of Ruin Sorcery. Then, finish Sellen’s quest by helping her kill Jerren and go all the way back through the Hideaway to where Lusat’s body was. There, finally, will be Lusat's Glintstone Crown and the rest of his set.
