PostsAs expected, all Souls games eventually get a DLC, and it was time for Elden Ring to receive its biggest expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree. Once it was announced, fans eagerly prepared for this new journey. However, there are a few steps to complete if you want to enjoy this expansion. Most likely, you have already completed them unless you are a new player.
How To Access The Shadow Of The Erdtree
Beofre you jump in into the new expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, you must complete two requirements: defeating the bosses Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood. If you've pre-ordered the DLC, you've likely already defeated these bosses and are just waiting for the release.
With these two requirements completed, travel to the area where you defeated Mohg, Cocoon of the Empyrean Site of Grace, and locate the cocoon there. You will now find an NPC standing next to it, asking you to touch the withered arm coming out of the cocoon.
Interact with the arm, and you will be transported to the Realm of Shadow, which is the brand-new map for this expansion.
If you're among those picking up Elden Ring with the release of Shadow of the Erdtree, we'll explain how to defeat these bosses quickly.
How To Reach Radahn
Starscourge Radahn is likely the first boss you'll want to target. You want to head to Redmane Castle in southeast Caelid, but note that you can only reach him when the Radahn Festival is active.
To initiate the festival, you need to find two Dectus Medallion Halves to activate the Grand Lift of Dectus, which will trigger the Radahn Festival. After that, all you have to do is go to the Redmane Castle and take on this formidable boss.
How To Reach Mohg
Mohg, Lord of Blood is located at Mohgwyn Palace. You can reach this location in two ways: either by following White-Faced Varré's quest line to obtain the Pureblood Knight's Medal, which it can be used to transport you there, or by finding the teleporter west of the Consecrated Snowfields.
Our guide here covers more details about these methods to reach Mohgwyn Palace and Mohg, so be sure to check it out.
