EA Sports FC 24 is keen to fill the void that FIFA’s annual releases left behind, and most players will be returning to Ultimate Team, which, despite a menu overhaul, is largely the same as ever. The biggest change is the addition of Evolution cards, of which the Relentless Winger could be the most powerful.

The idea is simple: pick a left winger for the Relentless Winger Evolution and complete a set of objectives to upgrade their stats. As with all Evolution cards like the Pacey Protector and Founders Evolution, there are some limitations on who you can put in, so we’ll cover that next.

Relentless Winger Evolution, Explained

The Relentless Winger Evolution unsurprisingly requires you to upgrade a left winger, but there are quite a few parameters you need to adhere to. They must have a maximum of 79 Overall rating, 91 Pace, 79 Physical, 82 Defending, and 79 Shooting. They can also have a maximum of two alternate positions.

What’s more, this is a premium Evolution, meaning you will have to pay 50,000 coins or 1,000 premium points to upgrade your player.

However, for your cash, you get an almighty buff. Your player will be granted +7 Shooting, +6 Overall, +7 Passing, +4 Pace, and +7 Dribbling. They will also be able to play on the right wing and get the Relentless playstyle.

How To Upgrade The Relentless Winger Evolution

All Evolution cards have objective requirements for you to upgrade your card. There are three stages to the Relentless Winger Evolution, but make sure your winger is set as your active Evolution before starting.

Level 1

  • Score 4 goals using your active EVO player in Squad Battles (or Rivals/Champions) matches on min. Semi-Pro.
  • Play 5 Squad Battles (or Rivals/Champions) matches on min. Semi-Pro, using your active EVO player in game.

Level 2

  • Assist 4 goals using your active EVO player in Squad Battles (or Rivals/Champions) on min. Semi-Pro.
  • Win 2 Squad Battles (or RIvals/Champions) matches on min. Semi-Pro using your active EVO player in game.
  • Play 5 Squad Battles (or Rivals/Champions) matches on min. Semi-Pro, using your active EVO player in game.

Level 3

  • Score and Assist using your active EVO player in 2 Squad Battles (or Rivals/Champions) matches on min. Semi-Pro.
  • Win 2 Rivals or Champions matches using your active EVO player in game.
  • Play 5 Rivals or Champions matches using your active EVO player in game.

Best Left Winger For Relentless Winger Evolution

Ansu Fati

The standout player for the Relentless Winger Evolution is Ansu Fati, especially you’re running a Premier League team, look no further than Brighton’s summer loan signing. His stats align perfectly with a meta winger, and his short build adds to his tricky nature.

Fati is one of the more expensive players on this list, coming in at around 4,000 coins at the time of writing, but he’s well worth splashing the cash.

Jota

Liverpool's Diogo is far too good to be included in this Evolution, but his Portuguese teammate known only as Jota is a great option if you, like Newcastle United, and have strong links to the Saudi League.

He's fast and agile, so if you can get his chemistry up to two or three, Jota will rip through your opponents' defensive line with ease.

Steven Bergwijn

If you’re on a tight budget, look to the Netherlands. Eredivisie teams are often cheap on the market, and Bergwijn would be the star if you plug him into the Relentless Winger Evolution.

At under 1,000 coins, you can’t go wrong with Bergwijn – so long as you can link him into your team and keep that chemistry up.
