How To Get Ogre Talon
CloseOgre Talon is a drop specifically obtained from a variant of Ogre known as the Grim Ogres. These creatures are less common compared to regular Ogres, but there's a reliable location where they respawn, allowing you to gather more Ogre Talons without the need to search or wait for Grim Ogres to appear.
Once you've reached Battahl, head southwest until you enter a forested area called Wyrmsblood Forest. As you progress through the forest and pass by the cave where Medusa resides, you'll encounter a Grim Ogre.
Engage it in battle; the fight is similar to facing a regular Ogre, so you shouldn't encounter any significant difficulties at this stage.
After defeating the Grim Ogre, you'll typically obtain around two to three Ogre Talons.
However, this might not be sufficient for your needs. In such cases, you can visit the Forgery shop to acquire more Ogre Talons.
Head to the Checkpoint Rest Town and visit Ibrahim's Scrap Store. Speak with him and request a forgery for the Ogre Talon at the price of 2,400 G.
Nearby, you'll find a bench. Utilize it to skip a day or two, then return to Ibrahim's shop. Claim your forgery, and it will provide you with an additional Ogre Talon.
CloseFeel free to utilize this method as many times as needed, as the price is fair and you'll only require a handful for certain equipment pieces.
