While Humans and Beastren take center stage in the story of Dragon's Dogma 2, they aren't the only race that inhabits the world. Besides the different monster races such as Goblins and Cyclops, there are other humanoid races in the form of dwarves and elves.

You may not be able to visit the dwarves' home city, but you can visit the elves. They have hidden away in a city of magic and nature, but they aren't totally unfriendly, and they might just need the Arisen's help. If you want to grow a relationship with the elvish people, you'll have to journey to the Sacred Arbor.

How To Find The Sacred Arbor

The Sacred Arbor is located far northwest of Vernworth in the Malacite Forest, and you can reach it most easily by leaving at the western exit of Vernworth and taking the main road towards the northwest.

If you're doing Glyndwr's quests, he'll personally escort you to the Sacred Arbor as part of his second quest, Trial of Archery, and give you an easy way to find it.

Keep on the main road until you reach the large river that cuts through the area near the Hidden Cavern, then head north up the smaller road and cross the river via either of the nearby paths.

Follow the small road west into the forest area, then begin following the road to the north, and if you pass by the Mountain Ruins on your left, you're going the right direction.

You can use the white pedestals with yellow-green flames as directional aids when heading towards the Sacred Arbor, as they mark a path towards the Sacred Arbor.

Go up the mossy tree trunk bridge, then keep on the roads as you follow them up and around until you reach a circular ramp near a cave.

Take this up to a higher part of the forest, then all you need to do is goacross the large tree root bridge, make sure to follow the road west until it curves north, and then you'll reach the Sacred Arbor.

You'll need either your Pawn or a hired Pawn to have the Woodland Woodsmith specialization in order to understand Elvish and interact with the Elves fully in the Sacred Arbor.

What Can You Find In The Sacred Arbor?

Besides having an inn with a built-in Vocation Guild and a shop for healing items, and despite being available early, Grisha's shop carries some of the most powerful weapons and armors for Archer, Mage, Sorcerer, and Magick Archer.

While it doesn't carry any weapons for Mystic Spearhand, it does still offer some great armor for that Vocation.

For Archers, you'll want to pick up the Dinistrydd bow especially, as it's got an extremely highest base Attack damage, and is one of the strongest bows prior to reaching the shops in Battahl.

  • For Mages, you have access to both Tintreach and Cardinal Blaze , some powerful staffs with built-in element damage in the form of Thunder or Fire, depending on what you want.
  • With Sorcerers, you have three options for archistaffs – Thunder, Fire, and the rare Light element – and like Dinistrydd, they're some of the most powerful options prior to Battahl.
  • This shop is also the first shop that carries magickal bows even before you'll likely be unlocking Magick Archer, and they're great picks, especially if you do unlock Magick Archer early.

You can also enhance your armor and weapons at Grisha's shop, and anything enhanced here will come with the Sacred Arbor's exclusive smithing style, which raises strength or magic significantly while lowering weight carried.

Quests You Can Find In The Sacred Arbor

The Sacred Arbor is home to its own series of quests that technically starts in Vernworth with Glyndwr and his quests, the first of which is Gift of the Bow.

You can also recieve the Archer-Maister's approval from Taliesin by completing at least The Gift of Bow and Trial of Archery.

Once completing that quest and Trial of Archery, you'll unlock another quest directly related to the Sacred Arbor itself from Doireann, The Ailing Arborheart.

Several characters in the city – Glyndwr, Taliesin, and Doireann – can also offer escort quests after gaining enough affinity with them, and completing them will raise that affinity and give you RC.

One of Glyndwr's escort quests will also lead to the Ancient Battleground, and you can easily pick up another sidequest, Tolled To Rest nearby.
