Exploration is a big part of Dragon's Dogma 2, not just for materials you'll need, but for all the places and dungeons you can find. Some of them are easy to find and get pointed out to you such as Trevo Mine, but others sit far off in the wilderness.

Need to know how to get to Agamen Volcanic Island in Dragon's Dogma 2? Here's how.
PostsIt may be difficult to find these locations, but it can definitely be worth it. Some of them, like the Tomb of Al'Guttos, not only hide challenging fights for those looking to test their might, but you can even find some rare loot – if you survive the fight, that is.
How To Find The Tomb Of Al'Guttos
The Tomb of Al'Guttos is located at the western edge of central Battahl, and requires you to go fairly far off the main roads to reach it.
You'll want to start at Battahl Ropeway Station Three, which you can reach by taking any of the Ropeway Stations to the Battahl Ropeway Central Station, then taking it to the west.
Battahl Ropeway Station Threeis situated right on top of a bandit camp which you can reach and unlock the door of by leaving the station and breaking the wooden plank blocking the door.
From there, follow the river west using either the slight pathway or just the river itself, and keep going until you reach where it branches off in three ways.
Hug the rock wall surrounded by trees, and you'll find a series of rocks you can use to climb up onto the platform above. Here you'll find a campsite, the Riftstone of the Calm, and the entrance to the Tomb of Al'Guttos in the nearby cliff.
There's a relatively tough fight inside the tomb, so you'll want to rest up at the campfire and make sure your Loss Gauge is full or that you have some food buffs before you go in.
What Can You Find In The Tomb Of Al'Guttos?
Alongside some regular Undead, Skeletons, and the occasional Phantasm, the biggest thing you'll find in the Tomb of Al'Guttos in what's essentially a double boss fight.
Though they are stronger, Phantasms essentially operate the same way as Phantoms do.
You'll not only have to deal with a Lich, but also a pretty strong Fell Lord that wields both a Greatsword and a Shield and who alternates between the two combat styles.
You'll want to focus on the Lich first and kill it as soon as possible, but this can be difficult, as the Fell Lord is mostly going to attack you, and uses several Warrior-esque moves.
The Fell Lord is a separate boss, but still counts as a regular Undead and can be resummoned by the Lich.
The Light in this tomb is very similar to the red-robed Wights in terms of damage, movement style, and health, but it uses several different attacks.
Attack
What It Does
Eight Orb Lightning
Summons eight Lightning orbs that will explode after a short duration.
Tracking Orbs
Summons several clear orbs that track you down and cause damage and knockback.
Summon Undead
Summons around three to five random Skeleton enemies and revives the Fell Lord if it's been defeated.
Lightning Field
Summons a large purple circle beneath it and after a slight delay, it sends lightning strikes at nearby targets.
There are plenty of ways to tackle this fight, but two different strategies that can serve you well during this fight are:
- That you focus your attacks on the Lich as much as possible, and try to leave the mini-boss and undead to your pawns to handle so that it can't resummon the Fell Lord.
- The other is to keep the Fell Lord occupied, as it poses a greater threat to your pawns than the Lich does, and try to destroy it first and leave it out of the fight for as long as possible before you go for the Lich.
A Mage with Empryean or High Empyrean will not only help do damage but also help stun the Undead and prevent the Wight from summoning more skeletons.
Treasure Found In Al'Guttos Tomb
Besides some armor and other items, you'll also be able to get the Enigmatic Robe as a drop from killing the Lich, and there's a single Seeker's Tokennear some stalagmites and a harvest point in the middle section.
