In Dragon's Dogma 2, each vocation typically focuses on a specific aspect of combat. For instance, fighters and warriors excel in close combat damage, archers specialize in ranged damage, and mages and sorcerers harness magickal abilities. With each vocation, you must equip their corresponding weapon and seek out specific armor tailored to that vocation.

However, imagine if there were a vocation that breaks free from these restrictions, offering unparalleled flexibility in the game. This vocation allows you to wield any weapon and utilize any skill without limitations. The only condition, of course, is that you need to unlock it.

The Warfarer vocation isexclusive to the Arisen and cannot be used by their pawn.

Strengths And Weaknesses Of The Warfarer Vocation

Strengths

Why limit yourself to one weapon when you can master them all? That's the core concept of the Warfarer vocation. Whether it's a sword, a bow, or a staff, Warfarers excel at wielding any weapon to their advantage. This versatility enables them to handle encounters with any creatures, either cyclopes or griffins, effectively.

Fortunately, upon unlocking this vocation, you gain the ultimate skill, which enables you to equip and switch between as many weapons as you desire.

By using various types of weapons, you ensure versatility in combat. This versatility allows you to overcome enemies resistant to physical or magical attacks, as well as those airborne, granting you the means to tackle any challenge that you encounter.

Not only that, but you'll also have the ability to utilize skills from any previously unlocked vocation as long as you're wielding the corresponding weapon.

Weaknesses

One important thing to note is that the Warfarer boasts lower stats compared to other advanced vocations. This can pose a challenge, especially since you'll need to adapt to using different weapons and constantly switch between them.

Another aspect, which may be seen more as a disadvantage than a weakness, is that the Warfarer still only maintains one set of skills. However, you'll really only have three free to use, as one slot would be reserved for their ultimate skill, Rearmament, which is necessary if you want to swap between different weapons.

Ideally, you'll be able to wield three weapons and equip a skill from each of their respective sets to have the best experience.

Mastering the Warfarer requires strategic thinking and knowing when to deploy each weapon, making it a challenging vocation to master, especially for beginners.

Warfarer Weapon Skills

Every skill you've previously unlocked from a vocation will indeed be available for use. However, remember that you must equip the corresponding weapon for each skill you want to use.

For instance, if you wish to cast spells, you'll need to have a staff equipped. Similarly, if you want to shoot arrows, you'll need a bow.

This aspect greatly depends on your progression in other vocations and the number of skills you've unlocked for them. However, you'll be able to view all the skills you've previously unlocked in the Warfarer weapon skills section.

Warfarer Core Skills

Similar to their weapon skills, the Warfarer doesn't come with any exclusive core skills. However, being the master of all, the same concept applies here: depending on the weapon you equip, you'll have access to the core skills you've previously unlocked for it.

For example, if you equip a staff, you'll be able to levitate. Conversely, if you equip a shield, you'll be able to block enemy attacks.

Warfarer Augments

Although the Warfarer only comes with two Augments, you can still equip previously unlocked Augments from different vocations.
