Despite being among the most hyped anime fighters, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has struggled to maintain its player base, something which lack of DLC has not helped with. However, the wait has ended as the first DLC, Dragon Ball Daima Part One is here.

These changes would elevate Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero to a truly top tier game.

The series was enjoyed by hardcore fans as they celebrated Akira Toriyama's final work of art. After a long wait, players can experience their first set of major characters in Sparking Zero. All of these bring their own unique skills that can certainly shape the meta of the game's ranked mode.

8 Panzy

"Time To Bring Out The Big Guns!"

Panzy is among the friendly demon faces that the Z fighters meet in Dragon Ball Daima. She appears in Episode 4 of the series as she tries to save the demon villagers with her Wasabi bomb. Panzy is a very helpful ally to the team as she provides them with a lot of tech support and resources.

In Sparking Zero, Panzy is unsurprisingly weaker compared to the other DLC additions as she only has two health bars. However, she does have a short-ranged unblockable super attack called The Last Chance Shock. By using this, she throws her Wasabi bomb to stun the enemy, only to quickly tase them and run away. Panzy's ultimate, Kadan Combination, also sees her dad, King Kadan, make an appearance.

7 Majin Kuu

"Did I Go Too Far?"

After the witch, Marba mixes the essence of Majin Buu and a Saibaman seed, Majin Kuu was born. This new creature is a loyal follower of the series' antagonist, Arinsu, and proves to be quite strong and intelligent. At the end of Daima, Majin Kuu becomes an ally to the Z fighters and the rightful ruler of the Demon Realm.

Majin Kuu is a neat character to play in Sparking Zero. His skill, Snack Time, regenerates almost a full bar of health, whereas his super attack, Majin Corkscrew Attack, is an unblockable move that does almost 8000 damage. His ultimate, Wild Rush, can also be quite effective as it's a quick rush-type attack that takes out almost two health bars.

6 Glorio

"Electricity Has All Kinds Of Uses"

Glorio is the demon that seeks out the Z fighters' help in Dragon Ball Daima. He guides the team through the demon realm and helps them seek the Dragon Balls of their world. While Glorio works as a double agent in the series, he ends up redeeming himself by its end.

Sparking Zero's Glorio is a decently strong character to use. He is among the few characters in the game whose charged ki blast stuns an enemy for a few seconds. Glorio also has a short-ranged unblockable ultimate called Lightning Canon that does 15,000 damage. But the best reason to pick Glorio is certainly to witness the beautiful visual effects that his lightning powers create in the game.

5 Vegeta (Mini)

"All Right, Who's My Next Punching Bag?"

While fans of the Dragon Ball series had already seen kid Goku a couple of times before, Daima was the first time that they got a mini version of Vegeta. Despite the size, the Prince of all Saiyans is just as strong in the latest series and gives rise to some of its most hype moments.

Vegeta's mini version feels like a standard character in Sparking Zero. He comes with an energy type and two rush-type attacks that deal decent amounts of damage. However, the unique part of this version of Vegeta is the skill, Revive Bug, that allows him to regain some of his health instantly and how quickly he charges his ki.

4 Vegeta (Mini) Super Saiyan

"Looks Like That Was Overkill"

Like his adult self, Vegeta's Mini version can also easily transform into a Super Saiyan. The series saw him use this power a few times, but some of its shortcomings urged him to push beyond this transformation.

In Sparking Zero, this version of Super Saiyan Vegeta can be a very strategic pick. He is given the Afterimage skill, which can be quite useful for dodging attacks and breaking combos. The Super Attack, Full Power Energy Blast Volley can also be very useful as it only costs three bars of ki and has since received a buff in its damage output.

3 Vegeta (Mini) Super Saiyan 2

"You're Wide Open"

Up until the Majin Buu Saga, Super Saiyan 2 was the strongest transformation for Vegeta. In Dragon Ball Daima, it makes a return in the battle against Tamagami Two as Vegeta tries his best to defeat him and win the Dragon Ball. Unfortunately, this transformation does not end up being enough to win the battle.

Vegeta Mini's Super Saiyan 2 is a great pick for ranked battles. Not only is he equipped with an Afterimage Strike, but he also has an Explosive Wave to disrupt enemy combos. However, his best Super Attack is easily the Head-On Impact, which sees him throw an energy blast at the enemy, only to get close and headbutt them from above.

2 Goku (Mini) Super Saiyan

"Now I Can Go All Out"

Goku turns into a Super Saiyan quite early on in Daima. He first does this briefly against King Kadan's soldiers. But fans get to witness this transformation in all its glory in his battle against Glorio and Tamagami One.

The Mini Super Saiyan Goku is easily one of the coolest additions to Sparking Zero. His transformation is quite elaborate and perfectly replicates the iconic moment from the series where we see Goku's eye color change to blue. Both of his Super Attacks are also unique. In Energy Strike, we see him rush towards the enemy while throwing multiple energy blasts, only to kick them from above. Meanwhile, High-Speed Strike sees him punch the enemy into a fiery tornado of ki.

1 Vegeta (Mini) Super Saiyan 3

"Prepare To Taste Defeat"

Vegeta Mini's Super Saiyan 3 transformation is easily one of the best and most unexpected ones from Dragon Ball Daima. It occurs during his battle against Tamagami Two where he is being pushed back. However, after going Super Saiyan 3, he is able to defeat him almost effortlessly.

Given the popularity of this new transformation of Vegeta, Sparking Zero had no room to fail. Fortunately, the game doesn't disappoint and makes this one of the coolest characters in the game. Vegeta gets all of Vegito's charm and stylish kicks in every Super Attack. In Slash Flash, he throws an energy blast with merely his kick to do a whole bar of damage. The Vanishing Strike sees Vegeta do an insane combo of kicks onto the enemy. Finally, the ultimate, Galick Doom, is straight from the anime as it sees Vegeta fire his Galick Gun and appear behind the enemy to gently let them fall to the ground.
