Dragon Age Fans Are Already Picking Their Veilguard Romance Options

Summary
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard fans are already deciding who to romance.
- Lucanis Dellamorte is the clear fan-favourite romance option, followed by Neve Gallus and Lace Harding.
- Taash, the qunari, is in last place right now, but we haven't seen much of her in the promotional material so far.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is still a couple of months away, but we already know who our romance options will be. This time around, all of our companions are available to hook up with the player character, Rook, regardless of gender or race.
So, as we see more of these companions in the promotional material, it's unsurprising that many are already deciding which one they're romancing when The Veilguard launches. And perhaps even less surprisingly, an early favourite is a guy we saw snapping someone's neck in the first trailer: Lucanis Dellamorte.
Dragon Age Fans Are Already Voting On The Best Romance Option In The Veilguard
The poll is still active if you want to put your pick forward, but the results so far show a clear favourite. For whatever reason, Lucanis is winning the most hearts. It's probably the fact that he's a very attractive assassin, let's be real. Welcome back, Zevran Arainai.
The fanbase is already writing fanfiction for The Veilguard too. In fact, more than 100 fics were written before we got a release date.
Next up, we have Neve Gallus in second place. This is also pretty unsurprising since we saw a bit of her romance in the latest trailer. Both Neve and Lucanis have the added bonus of having appeared in the series before, although this will be their first time in one of the games.
We have another returning character in third place, with Lace Harding securing more than 400 votes. Then, Davrin and Emmrich are near enough neck and neck, with the former only just about coming out on top. C'mon, fellow Grey Warden lovers, we can boost those numbers a bit. I'm sure the Davrin romance isn't going to be anywhere near as chaotic as the last couple of times we hooked up with a Warden...
This leaves Bellara and Taash in the last two places, but we haven't seen a whole lot from either of them yet, so that could change. In the meantime though, we have the clear favourites, we'll just have to see if the ranking stays this way once The Veilguard launches on October 31.
