- Guy Beahm says he'll wait another 60 days, while also teasing that he has something "much much bigger" in the works.
Dr Disrespect confirmed during a recent stream that YouTube denied his request to reactivate monetisation on his videos, which was originally stopped following the confirmation that he was banned from Twitch for inappropriately messaging a minor.
When it was finally revealed earlier this year that Guy Beahm, better known as Dr Disrespect, was banned from Twitch in 2020 for inappropriately messaging a minor using the app's Whisper feature, it seemed like his career was over for good. Sponsors and partners (including his own gaming studio) cut ties with him and YouTube even stopped him from earning money from his videos and streams.

PostsDespite the massive controversy and brief break from the world of streaming, Dr Disrespect has somehow started to make a comeback, something that he teased with a strange image of him playing chess against no one. Since that original tease, Beahm has gone back to streaming on YouTube, despite the platform still banning him from earning any money.
YouTube Isn't Reversing Its Demonetisation Of Dr Disrespect
If you're as bewildered as the rest of us that Dr Disrespect is attempting to get back into streaming after confirming that he inappropriately messaged a minor (an admittance he later tried to edit and delete), he did at least confirm recently that he wasn't earning any money from his time on YouTube.
As pointed out by streaming reporter Jake Lucky, Beahm confirmed as much during a recent stream of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Seemingly in response to a question from his chat, Beahm confirmed that YouTube has "pushed back" his request for monetisation to be reactivated on his channel, which basically means that they've denied it for the time being.
Actually champs, unfortunately they pushed it back another 60 days, believe it or not. They waited until the very last second last night to tell us that we're going to extend, just for another 60 days, and then you'll be eligible to re-apply. You know what, though champs? Okay, then let's just wait another 60 days. - Dr Disrespect
Beahm says that YouTube waited until the very last minute to tell him that they've extended the demonetisation period by another 60 days and that the streamer will be eligible to reapply after that time has passed. It's not clear what YouTube will say next time and if it will have changed its mind at all (doubtful), but Beahm confirms that he's going to wait the 60 days.
That being said, it seems that Dr Disrespect has somehow got another opportunity lined up outside of YouTube, as he confirms in the video that he's got something "much much bigger" going on in the background that might end up being his biggest opportunity yet.
