With so many items to collect in Disney Dreamlight Valley, it can be hard to know which ones suit your style. Thankfully, the game has a system to sort through all of them. With the different filters available, you can sort your items by color, type, and trait. This is great for designing with personal preferences in mind but also for planning accordingly with the DreamSnaps feature.

The trouble is that item stats can be hard to find if you don't know where to look. Thankfully, there are plenty of places to search for item traits and categories within the game.
What Are Item Stats?
Item stats are the details about any item you use, such as clothing and furniture, that separate them from other items. For example, some furniture is marked for indoor or outdoor use only, while others can be placed in either space. Your items may also be sorted by color to help differentiate each item when designing a room or outfit.
When you purchase items from Scrooge, the top right corner will display the universe it's from, and the space below will list the different styles and traits. This can help discern what your personal preferences are within the game.
What is the purpose of these stats? They can help you stay organized and find the perfect item of clothing or furniture you need. The real question is: how do you sort your collections with these categories?
How To Find Item Stats
When you open your menus, you'll see a button that says "All" with an infinity symbol as the icon. Select the filter option to open a new menu. You'll see several dropdown menus that show different ways to sort through clothing and furniture. Options for filters include color, style, trait, and more.
Some items may fall into several categories. Double-check your selections and browse around to find what you need.
While there is no way to check items before filtering them unless you buy them from Scrooge's store, this is an excellent way to find what you're looking for. Using the right filters can help you locate the best piece of furniture or clothing to complement your style and game.
What To Do With Item Stats
Item stats have more use than personal preferences and design. After unlocking the DreamSnaps feature, these categories become essential to mastering each prompt. You can check the current DreamSnaps criteria under the events tab and strive to match the requirements to earn rewards each week.
The prompt will refresh at 1 PM UTC every Wednesday, so check back to participate in the new challenge. Using more items that match the requirements will improve your chances of getting votes from other players. This is essential to earning rewards and boosting your DreamSnaps level.
