While not technically animals, these pesky creatures are well worth the effort. They allow you to help restore the Lorekeeper's magic!

How To Catch Bird Snippets
Bird Snippets can be found all over Storybook Vale, and even in Dreamlight Valley. Once you obtain the Royal Net, you can chase after them and collect them. These are the easiest to catch in groups, as they tend to cross paths often. However, they are quite quick when they fly around.
If you're having trouble catching them, watch their flight patterns. They often move in looped circuits, so if you can figure out where they're moving, you can circle around them to catch them.

How To Catch Frog Snippets
Once you open up the Everafter, you'll find little paper frogs hopping around. You can catch them with your Royal Net if you're quick, but they tend to hide. You'll have an easier time catching them if you directly swipe at them instead of trying to spin and catch them.
If you can't find them easily, keep an eye out for the glowing flowers on their heads!

How To Catch Demon Snippets
Demon Snippets are the hardest to catch, as they slip away the first time you hit them with the net. You'll have to chase after them to truly capture them with your net. Thankfully, they leave a sparkling trail for you to follow.
You'll need to move fast! If you take too long, the Demon Snippet will disappear and you'll have to start over.
