Disney Dreamlight Valley: Cheshire Cat Character Guide
With dozens of lively characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you'll almost never run out of things to do. Welcoming new villagers is the name of the game, as you design the perfect utopia for iconic Disney and Pixar characters. However, not every Villager will make the moving process easy.

PostsOne such scoundrel is the Cheshire Cat, who always does things on their own terms. Getting them to stay put or make sense is nigh impossible, but they still have a role to play in the village. We'll show you how to welcome them so you can enjoy evening strolls with your feline friend in your village.

How To Unlock The Cheshire Cat
To meet the Cheshire Cat, you'll need to open the Alice in Wonderland Realm within the Dream Castle. It will cost you 15,000 Dreamlight, but you can't enter right away.
Rather than go through the door, you'll chase a white rabbit around the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow until you stumble down a rabbit hole into Wonderland.
Wonders of Wonderland Quest
Once you enter Wonderland, you'll meet Alice. Accompany her through the forest only to be separated. This is where the Cheshire Cat comes in, offering advice on how to reunite with your new friend.
He'll send you around the forest on several errands to find smiles among the trees and ingredients to cook up More Time. Once you do that, he'll share the secret about how to escape the forest so you can find the Queen's Maze (and hopefully Alice)!

The Queen's Maze Quest
Once in the maze, observe the white rabbit dodge the guards and follow its lead. You'll need to activate several levers to open gates throughout the Queen's Maze until you reach the end.
Beware the guards! If they catch you, you'll be sent back to the start. Instead, look to the hedges for secret routes to reach the Queen of Heart's tea table.

Teeny, Tiny Problems Quest
After you reunite with Alice at the tea table, you'll need to consult with the Cheshire Cat on how to help Alice regain her size. He gives you several instructions to help the other residents of Wonderland in the forest, each needing a specific task completed.
Once you have all the materials, you can craft the Contrary Perfume that will help Alice grow again. From there, you'll need to use the perfume to explore the tea table in search of animal cage keys. With the keys in your inventory, you can help Alice free the animals the queen has captured.

Leaving Wonderland Quest
Before you can leave Wonderland, Alice will have you clean up after the animals and paint the white roses red so the Queen of Hearts won't notice the damage so much. Afterwards, meet with Alice at the start of the forest and chat with the Cheshire Cat about how to make the door back to the Valley appear.
Solve the mushroom puzzle and use the Contrary Perfume on the door so you can head home. Once there, build a house for Alice and welcome her to the village. She'll send you back to get the Cheshire Cat, who leaves a vibrant trail of pink footprints before disappearing entirely.

Mannequin Madness Quest
Finally, after welcoming Alice to the Valley and losing track of the Cheshire Cat, head to Scrooge's Store. Inside, you'll notice lots of trash and a smiling mannequin dressed in pink and purple – the Cheshire Cat's signature colors.
Talk to Scrooge about the situation, then help him clean up the store. Afterwards, seek out Alice for help in your investigation. Return to the store and pursue the mannequin as it teleports around the shop before leaving behind a mysterious coupon.
Redeem the items in Scrooge's store that appeared with the coupon and check back in with Alice to complete the quest.
It seems the Cheshire Cat will appear in his own time, but for now, the quest is over.
Chaos In The Kitchen Quest
After the previous quest, head into Remy's restaurant to find a pink mess everywhere. Help Remy clean up his business, then make a new delicious treat inspired by the mischievous cat.

Head back outside to clean up some more, then confront the Cheshire Cat inside Chez Remy to complete the quest.
Cat Tree Catastrophe Quest
Finally, after completing all the aforementioned quests, talk to Moana in the Valley. There are new fish around the beach that need to be fished out. Take them to Alice to see if you can finally capture the Cheshire Cat's attention.

Inside Alice's house, you'll help the Cheshire Cat locate a mini version of his tree. You'll have to place it in the village to officially welcome him and unlock him as a villager.
How To Unlock More Of The Cheshire Cat's Quests
The Cheshire Cat is unlike the other villagers. He won't follow you as closely, nor will he be visible at all times. Additionally, he doesn't have a proper house–he simply hangs out in his tree when not with you.
Thankfully, hanging out with the Cheshire Cat works the same way as it does for other villagers. Give him gifts, assign him a role in the village, and have daily discussions to increase your friendship with him.
As you increase your friendship, you'll unlock new quests. At level ten, you can complete the Cheshire Cat's final friendship quest and unlock his best friend rewards!
