Who doesn't love a pop-up book?

Though most villagers will happily (and easily) join the village, the Cheshire Cat is not one of them. While he's glad to find a new playground for his chaotic antics, he needs help getting his beloved home into the Valley. You can help him by restoring order to the Valley and giving him a place to call home so he doesn't inconvenience his new neighbors.

Where To Find Cheshire Catfish

After completing the Mannequin Madness and Chaos In The Kitchen quests, speak with Moana to learn about something strange happening to the fish at Dazzle Beach. Here, there are some new pink and purple striped fish on her boat: Cheshire Catfish.

There are more of them in the water. You'll need to fish up five more in gold bubbles. Not every gold bubble will have a Cheshire Catfish, so you may need to fish for a while before you find them all. Once you have them, show the Cheshire Catfish to Alice.

Where To Find The Cheshire Cat's Mini Tree

When you show the fish to Alice, she invites you into her home to try and sort things out with the Cheshire Cat. After you enter her house, the culprit of the chaos reveals himself at last.

He's looking for something specific–his tree! It's somewhere in the house, but he can't find it. Head into Alice's bedroom and take a photo of the tree portrait behind her bookcase. The tree will manifest itself on the floor so you can pick it up and return it to the Cheshire Cat.

Where To Place The Cheshire Cat's Tree

Things are almost right again, though the Cheshire Cat mentions that he's more of an outdoor cat. The mini tree also just isn't big enough for him. He suggests you take it outside to let it flourish so he can finally have a home in the village.

Open the furniture menu and place the Cheshire Cat's tree anywhere you like. Some of the best places are in the Forest of Valor or the Teapot Falls (if you have the Storybook Vale expansion, though you'll have to move it there later).

Once the tree is placed, head over to it and speak with the Cheshire Cat. There are no additional rewards for you to collect, but the Cheshire Cat is finally available to you in the village.
