How To Play As Belle

Playing as Belle means mixing magic and kindness together in innovative ways. From her quests to her actions, everything Belle does is for the good of others. She's a useful heroine to have in play, as she can help move you across the map quickly while also weakening Shadows.

The Realm's enchanted Gem has been broken and its magic lost. Reunite the pieces to reawaken the magic.

Belle must collect one piece of the Gem while another Hero collects the other. Unite the pieces at the Crystal Castle.

The Shadows have destroyed an ancient scroll of great importance. Find and repair the scroll before it's lost forever.

Any Hero can collect a scroll token, and Belle must return the restored Scroll to the Crystal Castle.

Gear Up

In all the chaos, an invaluable invention has been destroyed. Find the missing parts and rebuild the machine.

Heroes must work together to flip over Invention tokens two at a time. If they match, they can be collected. All pieces must be given to Belle to bring to the Crystal Castle.

Tips For Playing As Belle

When playing as Belle, the inventor's daughter, there are a few things to keep in mind to make each round run smoothly. Here are the best tips for playing as Belle:

  • You can move or heal at any time throughout the day, so make sure to save your movement tokens in case you need to heal.
  • Strong Shadows are difficult to face alone, so utilize the Catapult and Enchanted Book to help make battles easier.
  • Take other Heroes with you on Phillipe to maximize your movement throughout the day. If one character isn't able to move on their own in a round, bring them with you to conserve your action slots.

How To Play As Maid Marian

Maid Marian is renowned for her gentle spirit, but that doesn't stop her from fighting against the Shadows with the other Heroes in the Realm of Light.

Maid Marian must pick up the piece of the Amulet at the Country Manor, while any Hero can collect the other pieces. Anyone holding the Amulet pieces must meet on a location with a Shadow and defeat the Shadow together to restore the Amulet.

Royal Rescue

Shadows are keeping the Queen prisoner, locked away in the Country Manor. You must find a rope to help her escape!

Maid Marian must pick up the rope from the Lighthouse and rescue the Queen from the Country Manor. She must then take the Queen to the Crystal Castle.

Light the Way

Consumed by te Darkness, the Lighthouse is out of commission. Restore the light to help keep boats safe across the sea.

Any Hero can collect the token of Light from a defeated Shadow at any location. Maid Marian must deliver 4 tokens of Light to the Lighthouse.

Together nothing is impossible. Help lift the spirits and raise morale of the Realm's villagers.

Maid Marian has some unique abilities, and using them to their fullest potential will increase your odds of success. Here are some tips that can help you use Maid Marian to fight the Darkness:

  • Attack Shadows from afar using Longshot Birdie to minimize the damage you take and assist nearby allies.
  • Use Beacon of Light or Royal Influence to help Heroes move around the map and conserve action slots.
  • Conserve your movement tokens in favor of riding along with Belle, Moana, or Violet to travel.

Moana is a passionate leader and a master wayfinder. Her navigational skills help her assist Heroes traversing the raging waters now that the Darkness has arrived. With careful planning, she's an invaluable ally to have as you fight to save the Realm of Light.

Tips For Playing As Moana

Moana's focus is on the water, and her actions reflect that. Playing as Moana means making sure you maximize her efficiency so you can help the other Heroes. Here are a few tips that can help you:

  • Save the Heart of Te Fiti for that last few slots in the day. Once everyone has moved and battled Shadows, you can decide who to heal back to full health.
  • Use the Canoe and Power of the Ocean to help other Heroes cover more ground on the map and save action slots each round.
  • Try to stay near the water when possible to make sure you can move around quickly.

How To Play As Violet

Violet is a strong and capable young woman, and her inherent super powers make her a valuable asset against the forces of the Darkness. She mixes her knowledge and abilities to help other Heroes and protect them from danger.

Quest for the Key

The Key to the Realm has been stolen, and multiple copies have been made. Locate and return the original and destroy the fakes, which threaten to open the world up to more Darkness.

Find and flip over all key tokens. Once all fakes are removed, Violet must return the real Key to the Crystal Castle.

Timeless Treasure

Prevent a vase from being stolen from the Museum and deliver it to a safe location. Be careful. The Shadows are on your trail!

Violet must travel to the Museum and pick up the Vase. Violet must then meet up with another Hero at the School and give them the Vase. That Hero must bring the Vase to the Crystal Castle.

Break the Barriers

Obstacles are popping up on the paths throughout the land and preventing safe passage. Dismantle and remove these barricades as quickly as possible!

Violet must use the Incredible to destroy all the Barricades blocking her path. She can only break 1 per round, and she must destroy all 3.

Uncover the Truth

The Shadows are plotting something sinister. Locate and collect all the plans to put a stop to their scheme.

Any Hero can find and flip the Blueprint tokens,but they must be found in order. If found out of order, they must be turned back over. Once all the Blueprints have been found, Violet must deliver them to the Crystal Castle.

Tips For Playing As Violet

While Violet is younger than the other Heroes, she's just as capable. From shielding her allies to traversing the map quickly, she's a valuable ally to have in play. Here are the best tips for playing as Violet:

  • Use the Incredibile to drive multiple Heroes to another location at the start of the game. You'll all get much further that way, especially with characters like Belle and Moana who can move an additional three spaces afterward with Phillipe's Essence and the Canoe.
  • Protect your allies with Invisibility and the Force Field to reduce the damage taken when challenging Shadows and the Vortex.
  • Save your healing for the end of a battle in case you need to move quickly.
