What Is The Prismatic Subclass, And How Does It Work?

The Prismatic subclass makes you a master of Light and Dark, allowing you to select individual abilities from either side of your powers to create your ultimate class combination.

However, using any ability you want will require careful consideration, as various combinations can work together and augment their effectiveness.

You can select more Fragment slots than usual and craft combinations that keep you alive or enable overwhelmingly effective boss damage strategies.

What Is Transcendence?

Transcendence is a new feature in The Final Shape that allows you to build up Light and Dark energy to wield unique elemental combinations, depending on whether you are a Hunter, Titan, or Warlock.

Essentially, Transcendence is like a second Super, that allows you to refill your ability energy and gain access to more powerful abilities.

Your Transcendence Meter is located directly beneath your Super meter, and is indicated by two bars on either side: a Light meter, and a Darkness meter.

As each bar extends, and eventually both sides fill up, you'll reach a new state of power: Transcendence.

Each class performs a unique animation to indicate they have entered Transcendence.

Transcendence's main draw is access to a fused grenade type combination, unique to each class.

What Special Grenade Does Each Class Get?

In Transcendence, each class will receive the following special grenade combinations, fusing Light and Dark:

Transcendence will also provide the following benefits:

1. Damage bonuses will stack
2. Your Grenade and Melee energy will be immediately refunded when you cast Transcendence
