A new Survivor has entered the realm of Dead By Daylight, and brings three new perks to share with other Survivors. Vee Boonyasak is a talented drummer who is full of energy and ready to make her mark. Despite her tragic ending, Vee still has a thirst for adventure and brings some perks that reflect her tenacity and spirit.

Vee's perks help you recover faster from the exhausted status, gain more skills checks to increase progress, and get some speedy heals when needed. Here are some helpful builds to make the most of Vee's perks.

Vee Boonyasak's Unique Perks

Vee Boonyasak comes with three unique teachable perks: Ghost Notes, One-Two-Three-Four! and Road Life. Both One-Two-Three-Four! and Road Life are skill check-based, helping you make the most out of your successful skill checks and granting you more skill checks as you repair or heal. Road Life feels very situational, and relies on getting great skill checks, while One-Two-Three-Four! is a supporting perk and would be best when paired with other skill check-based perks.

Ghost Notes, on the other hand, makes a fine addition to any chase build. Its double effect of fading scratch marks faster and reducing exhaustion, can be a big help to any Survivor who like to lose the Killer in chase quickly. Paring this Ghost Notes with an exhaustion perk is a must!

You will not recover from the exhausted status while running, so walk, repair generators, heal Survivors, or cleanse totems while waiting for exhaustion to deplete.

Guide

Ghost Notes

You know that the best breakdowns precede the biggest build-ups.

Your scratch marks disappear 50% faster when you are exhausted, and you recover 10% faster from the exhausted status.

One-Two-Three-Four!

A steady beat makes for steady work.

Play the drums for 15 seconds, during which there will be continuous skill checks. After a successful performance, your odds of getting skill checks increase by 20% for 90 seconds.

Road Life

Faulty amps, sweaty dives, broken-down vans... Nothing makes you feel more alive.

When you are injured but not broken, you gain a Token for every Great Skill Check you complete. When you have 6 Tokens, you gain 100% healing speed until you stop healing.

Best Builds And Perk Combos

Vee brings one strong perk and two that could be helpful in certain situations. Ghost Notes seems pretty strong, and will probably be a staple for many builds, especially for those players who enjoy a good chase and like to try and play mind games with the Killer while looping.

One-Two-Three-Four! is useful when put in a build that uses skill checks to increase progression, to help guarantee some extra skill checks during healing or generator repair. Road Life, on the other hand, is weak as it relies on getting six great skill checks just to have one healing speed boost.

Ghost Notes Perk Combos

Ghost Notes is the perfect perk for Survivors who get into chases regularly, on purpose or against their will (we all know a Survivor who seems to be caught out first!). Putting this perk with Sprint Burst, or another speedy exhaustion perk, for a decent boost at the start of a chase, is the best way to go.

Next, Lightweight will reduce the visibility of scratch marks even further, while Vigil helps all Survivors recover from status effects like exhaustion and oblivious even faster.

Lightweight

General perk, Lightweight, means scratch marks stay visible for 5 seconds less than normal and their spacing is inconsistent.

Sprint Burst

Meg Thomas perk, Sprint Burst, gives you 50% haste for 3 seconds when you start running. This causes you to be exhausted for 40 seconds. When paired with Ghost Notes, this is reduced to 20 seconds, plus with Vigil it is reduced further.

Vigil

Quentin Smith perk, Vigil, reduces the effect of all general status effects, including exhaustion, by 66%. This perk affects all Survivors within 16 meters. Combining this with Ghost Notes and Lightweight means exhaustion lasts only 16 seconds aprox.

You could use any exhaustion perk with Ghost Notes, such as Balanced Landing or Lithe.

One-Two-Three-Four! Perk Combos

One-Two-Three-Four! doesn't seem like a good perk on face value, but when it is paired with perks that rely on getting skill checks, it can be very useful indeed. This perk can boost the effectiveness of others such as Bardic Inspiration, Autodidact, and Do No Harm, which all give a speed boost or buff when a skill check is completed.

The build below is great for boosting generator repair speed, but it is possible to use One-Two-Three-Four with altruistic healing builds too.

Bardic Inspiration

Adding this Aestri Yazar perk increases the effectiveness of skill checks. When activated, you perform for 15 seconds, during which time a D20 is rolled, giving you a number between 1 and 20. The higher the number, the better the skill check progress boost.

Hyperfocus

Rebecca Chambers perk, Hyperfocus, gives you a Token every time you hit a great skill check. Each Token increases the chance of a skill check by 4%, increases the skill check cursor by 4%, and importantly, increases skill check progression by 30%.

Stake Out

Stake Out is a Detective Tapp perk that is excellent when combined with Hyperfocus as it turns good skill checks into great skill checks. Gain 1 Token for every 15 seconds you are in the killer's Terror Radius but not in a chase. Each Token is consumed by a good skill check turning it into a great skill check!

Road Life Perk Combos

You could pair Road Life with Vee's other skill check perk One-Two-Three-Four to increase the chance of getting skill checks, but it is more worthwhile to add Iron Will, to stay safe and quiet while injured. Adding the two skill check perks from the build above is essential to guarantee getting those great skill checks as quickly as possible.

Road Life can be activated multiple times during a trial, but it takes a lot of effort to gain the great skill checks to activate it. Whether it is worth it, just for one speedy heal, is entirely up to you. If the perk was activated with regular skill checks, it would make more sense and be used more often.

Each Token is consumed by a good skill check turning it into a great skill check.

Iron Will

Jake Park's perk, Iron Will, reduces your grunts of pain by 100%, making it easier to hide from the Killer when injured.
