Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion - Best Build To Win Races

As the story progresses in Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, you'll be invited to participate in races against your allies among the Reclaimers. The courses and vehicles you'll use vary, so you might find that some races are easier than others, but they can be a fun way to take a break from fighting and earn some extra credits.
Like nearly everything else in Titanic Scion, your performance in a race is heavily impacted by the loadout of your Arsenal. Speed certainly helps, but that's not the only consideration. If you're having trouble taking the checkered flag, try some of these tips.
Best Build For Flying Races
Naturally, a major stat that you'll want to focus on for flight races is Aerial Speed, which is mostly determined by your cuirass. You'll also want to equip a helm with high Stamina Efficiency. If you have access to any Passive Skills that increase your maximum Stamina, equip those too.
Before the race, have a scoop of Strawberry ice cream for a further buff to Aerial Speed. Since the buff is percentage-based, you'll get more benefit the higher your armor's base stat is.
Finally, equip either a Booster (e.g. Atalanta) or a Cooling System to your Auxiliary mount. These will help you maintain your Arsenal's maximum speed for longer stretches of time. If you have any Attachments than enhance Aerial Speed or Stamina Recovery, equip those too.
Flying Race Strategy
You need to keep your boost going for as long as possible at all times; let it run out, recharge, then boost again. The better your Stamina Efficiency and Recovery, the fewer times you'll have to do this throughout the race.
Annoyingly, your opponent can just keep boosting the entire time, apparently ignoring Stamina restrictions. This means that they will inevitably pull ahead of you, even if you get a head start. Don't worry about that. Maintain your best possible speed, but make sure that you fly through every single ring on the course. Your opponent will miss a few, incurring a five-second penalty to their final time for each. As long as you're reasonably fast and don't take any penalties yourself, you'll get the win even if you cross the finish line second.
Best Build For Motorcycle Races
Motorcycle races, on the other hand, are much more traditional. Hitting all the rings to avoid penalties is important, but you really need to stay ahead of your opponent. That means staying on the course and avoiding crashes. You can't modify your bike at all, but you can indirectly affect its performance by setting up your Arsenal.
For motorcycle races, you actually want to make your Arsenal as heavy as possible. Choose midweight and heavyweight armor, ideally a WS-variant cuirass that gives you access to the Wing Particle Booster. Having a heavy Arsenal helps your bike keep its grip on the terrain; if you try a race in light armor, you'll go flying all over the place each time you hit a bump. A heavier Arsenal also means that if you're thrown from the bike, you'll have less distance to travel to get back on.
The Wing Booster uses up a lot of Femto, but you're not using it for anything else during a race. Be careful where you deploy it, though; it's easy to lose control of your bike, so it's best used to close out the race when the finish line is in sight, catching up to your opponent or widening your lead.
Don't hit the gas until the signal is given to go at the start of the race; otherwise you'll have to release the button and press it again.
