Dying Light turned ten last week and Techland announced a variety of different ways it plans to mark the occasion. Not only via updates and events in Dying Light 2: Stay Human, but improvements and bonuses for the ten-year-old OG too. First up is an anniversary bundle for the original game which is now available to claim across all platforms.
The Dying Light 10th Anniversary Bundle is now available to claim on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. It doesn't matter through which storefront you bought the original game on PC either with pages for the free bundle now live on Steam, Epic, and GOG. You will need to claim the bundle on the same platform on which you bought Dying Light, although since it's available everywhere, that shouldn't be a problem.

PostsEverything included in the bundle is golden to celebrate the original Dying Light turning ten, most notably a snazzy new outfit to wear the next time you fire up the game to mow down some zombies. Joining the Hotshot Outfit in the bundle are some gilded weapons for you to slay those zombies with - the invaluable Dawnbreaker shotgun, the radiant Sunburst revolver, and the glimmering Golden Idol machete.

Gold Plate Yourself And Your Stuff For Dying Light's Birthday
via TechlandDon't dawdle if you want to be gold-clad in the original Dying Light. The bundle is only available to claim until February 10, 2025.
Capping off the free swag you can get in Dying Light starting today is a custom golden paint job for the buggy. Renamed the Golden Hour buggy when painted gold, it's described as a beacon of hope for any survivors who happen to see it. I'd argue that driving the golden buggy while wearing a golden suit and wielding a golden machete might attract unwanted zombie attention if this were the real world. In terms of Dying Light, you'll be as at risk as you would be while using anything else. It's all cosmetic.

DIGITALThe rollout of Dying's Light's free anniversary bundle is only the beginning of Techland's celebrations. The studio marked ten years since the first game by revealing a whole roadmap of ways it plans on celebrating. Also live now is the deepest discount yet on Dying Light 2, and there will be events across both games in the coming weeks.
There's also an all-new installment in the Dying Light series to look forward to during its tenth year. Dying Light: The Beast now has a confirmed release window of summer 2025. A much shorter wait between games than there was between the first Dying Light and its sequel, The Beast will be a standalone adventure making it sound similar in scope to Spider-Man: Miles Morales when compared to Insomniac's first Spider-Man game.
