Life as a duck detective is not always easy. You will need to investigate the premises and learn more about the front desk staff if you want to find your client and get to work solving this case. Search for clues and make your deducktions to figure out what might be troubling the giraffe.

The Entrance

Before reaching your client and beginning your true investigation, you will need to gain access to the office by befriending the front desk clerk.

There will be 11 clues in this room, and you will need all of them to figure out who the giraffe is and why she is upset.

Begin by speaking with the giraffe. Every character you interact with will have an inspect option for you to inspect their clothing and belongings for additional clues.

Drag the magnifying glass around the screen to find the extra clues. Inspecting the giraffe will give you a last name, the Sad clue, and the K-Pop clue.

Making Deducktions

Open your deducktions notebook and open the second tab. The giraffe will be listed with two blanks to fill in. Enter the last name you found on the name tag.

Interact with the Calendar and the Suggestions Box on the left side of the room to gain the rest of the necessary clues for this level.

The Suggestions Box will give you the giraffe's first name - Sophie. Enter this on the Suspects page of your notebook.

The Final Answer

The correct answer for the deducktion in The Entrance is:

Sophie is feeling Sad because Nobody has Remembered her Birthday.

After solving the puzzle, speak with Sophie once more and wish her a happy birthday. She will be so happy that someone remembered that she will give you the key card to the rest of the office. It may not be the best security question, but it lets you continue your investigation.
