When you first see them, they are neutral, but if you want, you can also attack them to engage in combat. However, considering the depth of the game, it is natural to be confused about whether to attack these White Nevrons or spare them, since there are a multitude of achievements and quests that the completionists wouldn't want to miss out on.

The White Nevrons can be hard to find, as even though some of them are placed in your path through the story, the others are hidden in various sub-sections. As such, its recommended you explore each section if you want to complete the White Nevron questline.

What Happens If You Attack White Nevrons?

If you attack White Nevrons, they will turn hostile, and you will have to engage in a boss fight. Defeating them will drop a few rewards, though nothing substantial. You will also miss out on the achievement where you have to save all the White Nevrons.

There are a total of nine White Nevrons in the entire game, and when you first meet them, they aren't hostile. You can talk to them, and they will request some materials from you that will help the Nevrons get a closer look at their Mistress, who is the Paintress.

The White Nevron quests can be tricky, as you will be given a hint about what to look for, but the search will be on you. Some of them will involve a jumping puzzle, while others will involve defeating enemies to gather materials.

Gathering the materials and completing the small White Nevron quests will reward you with items such as Pictos, Healing Tints, Weapons, and Colour of Lumina. However, if you attack them before completing their quest, you will miss out on some of the rewards.

Should You Attack White Nevrons?

Since you now know what happens if you attack them, the question is whether it's worth it. This is because the rewards for defeating each of them aren't something that will make a big difference to your builds, and you will also be missing out on the Aiding the Enemy Trophy.

Once you have helped all the White Nevrons, you will eventually meet Blanche, the final White Nevron NPC, who will reward you with 100 Colour of Lumina. This is a big reward, even though you receive it way later in the game.

You have the option to kill a maximum of one White Nevron, and skipping at most two, and you will still receive the 100 Colour of Lumina. If you kill more than one, Blanche will attack you.

However, if you have killed all the White Nevrons, Blanche will attack you, and a boss fight will begin. This boss fight is very difficult, and the reward for defeating Blanche is ten Colour of Lumina and 2 Grandoise Chroma Catalyst.

As such, it's better you help the White Nevrons, as the reward for killing them is not only underwhelming, but Blanche can deal about 9,000 damage in one hit, which isn't fun to deal with.
