Reallocate all your attribute and skill points.
PostsOne such encounter you will have is in Spring Meadows, where you will speak with a Nevron. That is when you will trigger the Jar's Light side quest, which can be confusing to complete. Here, we will guide you on how to find the light and complete the mission.
Where To Find The Light
Completing this mission is entirely optional, but you will trigger it automatically during the main story. While you are making your way toward the Indigo Tree, you will come across a Nevron that can communicate.
Talk to them, and the quest will start. After the interaction, you will need to find a light for Jar. To find that item, make your way through the cave and go to the right. At the end of the path, you will find a Pictos; grab that and then drop down on the right side of the bridge.
After that, proceed down and in front, you will encounter a few enemies. Defeat them, and you will notice some barrels on your right. Break those barrels and pick up the item. You will receive a flammable material, Resin, which is exactly what you want.
Now that you have this item, go back to Jar and give it to him. After giving him the Resin, shoot the top of the weapon he is holding to light it up. Then, talk to him, and you will receive a Healing Tint Shard, which will improve your healing items.
Now you can either go on your way or fight him. Defeating him will give you more rewards.
How To Defeat The Jar Boss
This enemy is strong, but their moveset isn't that hard to understand. When the Jar is performing a combo, get ready to parry. He will perform two swinging strikes. The first one will be a little delayed, but the second one will come instantly, so time your parry accordingly.
If you are underleveled, explore the Spring Meadows area completely and consider refighting some enemies after resting at a camp to level up and then come to fight the Jar.
After the two hits, they will strike you with an overhead attack. Parry as soon as you see the attack goes above their head. They will then perform another similar attack. Parry that too, and you can perform a counter-attack.
If you get hit by Jar's complete combo, one of your characters may die, so it is necessary to parry or dodge. If you're struggling with the parry timing, just dodge until you get more used to it.
Jar doesn't seem to have any other attack other than this four-hit combo, so you are in luck. However, they are quite resistant to physical damage, so focus on elemental damage where possible.
Lune will be the key player here, as Jar is weak to most of her elemental damage. Use her ice attacks and make sure to perform a perfect charge to deal more damage.
We managed to do over 1,500 damage to Jar with this ability, which obliterated most of their health. If you are underleveled and don't do much damage to this opponent, then it is better not to fight them just yet.
Make liberal use of your healing items and try to parry their combo for a counterattack once you have the timing down. After you have defeated them, you will receive three Colour of Lumina and one Chroma Catalyst. The former is used to increase the Lumina points for each character, and the latter can be used to upgrade your weapons.
Fighting a white nevron will lock you out of a lategame reward that can only be acquired by helping each one, so be wary of that!
