PostsDune: Rule of Fate is the latest of these events, giving players a way to earn some XP boosters and weapon cosmetics by simply playing the game. This short guide will explain how the Dune: Rule of Fate event works, how to unlock all of its cosmetic rewards, and showcase the exact XP thresholds you must reach to unlock every new reward, including the new Full Shields animated weapon camo.
What Is Dune: Rule Of Fate?
Dune: Rule of Fate is a week-long event for Modern Warfare 3 that runs from March 6 to March 13. Any XP you earn during this event will progress a separate reward track that includes exclusive cosmetics and a handful of XP boosters, similar to a linear Battle Pass seen in other live service titles. XP earned in any activity counts for this event. This includes Multiplayer, MWZ, and Warzone.
As with previous crossover events, there are ten rewards you can earn, one of which is an exclusive weapon camo that's inspired by Dune. Beyond that, expect to earn weapon stickers, calling cards, and emblems for your account.
Earning Bonus XP
XP boosters work with the reward track tied to this event, allowing you to complete this event twice as quickly if you have enough boosters.
Additionally, completing matches with the Harkonnen Hunter (Riptide) Operator skin will award a bonus 2,500 XP. This bonus is static and applies to all MW3 game modes. The skin is tied to the Tracer Pack: Harkonnen bundle, purchased from the MW3 store for 2,400 CoD Points.
All Event Rewards
Dune: Rule of Fate has ten rewards you can earn, all of which are unlocked by earning XP in any activity—Multiplayer, MWZ, and Warzone. The final reward is the Full Shields weapon camo. It is fully animated camo that can be applied to any weapon in MW3, both new MW3 weapons and all MW2 weapons that were brought forward. All event rewards are listed below.
