The leaks, which were shared online, name 20 total maps for the upcoming first-person shooter, including the return of fan favorite Nuketown, along with some other updated maps. Whereas 2023's Modern Warfare 3 brought a ton of older maps, including the entirety of Modern Warfare 2, a divisive decision, Black Ops 6 is opting for a more controlled approach.

Firing Range 2, Nuketown And More Headline The List

The 20 maps leaked are as follows (hat tip to CharlieIntel for sharing the list):

  1. Vorkuta Mine
  2. Vorkuta
  3. Catacomb
  4. Flat
  5. Dig
  6. Babylon
  7. Train Graveyard
  8. Russian Base
  9. Socotra 2
  10. Hacienda (Alt)
  11. Strip Mall
  12. Red Card
  13. Firing Range 2
  14. Veiled
  15. Canals
  16. Island
  17. Pillage
  18. Radar
  19. Stealth
  20. Nuketown

Longtime COD fans will immediately recognize the ever popular Nuketown, as well as a redux of Firing Range, a classic Black Ops 1 map. Then, there's Hacienda (Alt), which appears to be a callback to one of Black Ops 4's most popular maps.

Elsewhere, Vorkuta stands out because of its larger story implications. It's an iconic campaign mission from the first Black Ops, where Mason and Reznov attempt to escape the titular Russian camp.

Rounding out the list of interesting finds is Socotra 2. That's because in Black Ops 2, Socotra was the island on which the Yemen map was housed. A Socotra 2 might indicate that a Yemen-like map will be in the game.

The rest of the maps all likely have to do with the game's campaign. It's also important to note that the list of maps leaked did not differentiate between core 6v6 and other smaller multiplayer modes for which the modes will have exclusive maps. Still, it's an impressive list that doesn't heavily rely on nostalgia.
