As first discovered on Reddit, and confirmed by Treyarch themselves, the diving board that is present in the "Vault" map is fully functional. That means if you hit the jump button right at the edge, as you would jump on a real-life diving board, your player character will take a trip to the skies.

As it turns out, this wasn't some accident, either. Lurking in the comments was the official Treyarch Reddit account, which confirmed that this was an intentional addition. "Just our Design team continuing the rich tradition of functional diving boards from Miami in Cold War ;)," the account wrote in response.

While the original discovery allowed the player to get a quick kill by jumping over the head of an enemy, a YouTuber found an even better use for the boost. The jump is high enough to get to the map's closest balcony. During a hectic skirmish, the diving board will surely come in clutch as a way to get out.

COD Fans Are Going All Out On Day 1

As cool as the Easter Egg on Vault is, it pales in comparison to the fact that a group of COD players became the first to figure out the Easter Egg of the Liberty Falls map. That group has drawn the envy of other COD players, though Terminus has yet to have its Easter Egg solved.

Elsewhere, there are already players who have hit Prestige and unlocked the accompanying trophy, as well as gold camos on some of the weapons. It's safe to say that Call of Duty is back in full force.
