The Firestarter quest is one of the most important main jobs in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. This is because you make a decision mid-way through this quest that has a huge impact on where your Phantom Liberty story goes and what quests you have to complete for the rest of the DLC.

Help out a journalist who has corpos on her back.
PostsFirestarter isn't just about a choice, though. There is a full quest to get through, and for half of it, you're pretending to be somebody else. You have to keep your cover before the previously mentioned big decision and subsequent firefights. This is how you do it all.
Enter The Stadium And Meet Hansen
The quest begins immediately after the last one. So, you start in a car while disguised as a Netrunner, driving to the stadium. To start, you just need to follow the GPS.
When you park, you get given access to a little cheat sheet about the person you're portraying. You don't have to memorize it, as you can just leave it on.
Once you leave the car, follow Alex inside the stadium. A man named Murphy will meet you.
Follow him and deposit your weapons into the locker when he asks you to do so. You will get scanned before you have to start following Murphy again.
Eventually, you will be brought to Hansen.
Talk With Hansen
You now must have a conversation with Hansen. This is where your acting gets put to the test.
So, make sure the cheat sheet is out and sit down to talk. Say, "I do not mind waiting," or "We are not in a hurry," depending on what options you get as you sit down.
Hansen's questions and your responses will be different depending on whether your V is male or female. This is because you will be impersonating a different character.

Side With Songbird Or Reed
The conversation with Hansen ends when Songbird arrives at the table. You have to follow her downstairs while talking.
Eventually, you have jack in. Shortly after, you have to decide between siding with Songbird or Reed.
To stick with Songbird, choose the "I'm with you" dialog option. Alternatively, you can help Reed by selecting "One more second..."
This is an important choice as it heavily impacts the rest of the Phantom Liberty story, from the quests you do to the ending you get. It also affects your relationship with the main characters, as you essentially turn your back on the one you don't side with, and they become your enemy.
You must side with Reed to get the additional ending to the base game.
Side With Songbird Route
Once you've told Songbird you are with her, she will work some of her hacking magic. When the opportunity arises, look up and give the signal to Alex to kill Hansen. She does it, but she's not happy when she sees you and Songbird escaping.
Speaking of escaping, you need to follow Songbird a bit. She will lead you to a case containing some weapons. Pick them up and equip them as you don't have your usual gear.
There are plenty of enemies in the next room, so you need to fight through them with your new weapons and Songbird's hacking.
On the other side of the room, you will find some stairs to go up. At the top, you will find the locker where your equipment is being kept. Make sure you grab your stuff before moving on.
The next few areas are very self-explanatory as you simply fight through rooms filled with goons.
Escape The Stadium
Once you make it through the market and take down the last enemies, go through the large opening that is directly below a giant screen.
You will find a big door to your left. Go through it and progress down the hall. At the end of it, you will need to wait for Songbird to open a door for you.
When you get through the door, you must move some large crates. This opens a new path. Head down it and follow the only path forward.
Eventually, you will reach a couple of workers that you can just walk past. After that, head around the corner and drop down the ladder.
Now, you enter a hostile area that has drones patrolling. Take them out or sneak by.
Either way, you must go through the gap on the other side.
Finally, head through the tunnel and kick the sewer gate open. When Songbird drops down, help her up and lead her out of the homeless camp.
After one last conversation with her, the quest ends. You're now on the Songbird path.
Side With Reed Route
The Icebreaker program doesn't stop Songbird. It basically just makes her angry. She knocks you down, and Hansen kills Alex.
When you get up, have a short conversation with Johnny before heading toward the exit. Next to the said exit are some weapons you should pick up and equip, as your own are still in the locker you left them in.
Fight through the next room and head upstairs. At the top, you will find the locker containing your weapons on the floor. Retrieve your things from it.
Now, battle through the next few sections. Eventually, you reach a closed garage door. When you go up to it, Hansen will arrive.
Hansen Fight
Your first goal of the fight with Hansen should be to take out his allies to make it a one-on-one fight.
When you've only got Hansen left, you want to try to keep distance between the two of you, as he's very dangerous up close. In ranged skirmishes, you can use the middle statue and upper catwalk to get some cover.
Keep shooting him until you deplete his health. Eventually, he will drop to his knees. This is when you can finish him off by going up to him and hitting the prompt.
Loot his body for the Stadium Security Datashard, and head through the big garage door before going through the next door on your left.
You can then head right to find the elevator.
Meet Up With Reed
Take the elevator down to the garage. Down there, you will find a few drones. Sneak past them or take them out.
Either way, you must reach the back left corner of the garage to find a door.
Once you open it, you will see Reed's car drift into the garage with people shooting it.
Run to the car and get in.
The rest of the quest pretty much plays itself as you drive in Reed's car and select some dialog options.
When it ends, you're placed on the Reed story path.
