What Is The Transmog System?
The Unholy Alliance expansion introduced a Transmog System that allows you to customize the appearance and abilities of your fleeces. This feature enhances both the aesthetic appeal and strategic gameplay, allowing you to tailor your experience according to your preferences.
How To Customize Fleeces
To utilize the Transmog System, you must first access the Crown menu inside the Temple, which becomes available after unlocking at least one fleece. Within this menu, the 'Custom Appearance' button allows you to interchange the visual design of your fleeces while retaining their inherent traits and abilities.
This means you can maintain the powerful effects of your chosen fleece, such as the Golden Fleece, while adorning it with the design of another fleece that you find more visually appealing. The best part? You can mix and match until your heart’s content!
This customization feature is unavailable for purely cosmetic fleeces, like those from DLC, since they lack any effects. However, you can still use a cosmetic fleece design on a fleece that has an effect.
How To Unlock Fleeces
CloseNow, unlocking new fleeces is the name of the game, and you’ll need Holy Talismans to do it.
These talismans are crafted from four talisman pieces, which can be obtained by completing various quests, such as fulfilling the Fisherman's requests in Pilgrim's Passage or giving Plimbo an Eye of the Witness in Smuggler's Sanctuary. By actively participating in quests as they appear in your playthrough, you can gather the necessary materials to unlock and customize your fleeces.
Once you’ve rounded up your talisman pieces, waltz back to the Crown menu in the Temple, and voila! New fleeces are yours for the customizing.
