Brotato is a top-down roguelike where you slaughter wave after wave of incoming aliens. This game has so many characters and items that you can make countless combinations. To be able to unlock and play every item and character you should achieve some requirements.

However, unlocking all the characters and items in Brotato is not easy as it seems, because you will have to pull off some hard challenges like winning a game with the Pacifist character, or winning a run with Danger five difficulty. All Unlockables And How To Unlock Them
Playing a different character provides you with different perks in Brotato, like starting the game with additional stats or unique items. In addition, you can get your hands on some powerful and unique items that give you strong stats. To do so, you have to unlock them via some requirements.
In this table, you can find every locked character and item available in the game and how to unlock them.

The Lucky character can be obtained by collecting 300 materials.
Generalist
The Generalist character can be obtained by collecting 300 materials.
Multitasker
The Multitasker character can be obtained by collecting 5,000 materials.
Pacifist
The Pacifist can be unlocked by collecting 10,000 materials.
Saver
The Saver can be unlocked by collecting 20,000 materials.
Chunky
The Chunky can be unlocked by dying for the first time in the game.
Engineer
The Engineer can be obtained by placing five turrets on the map.
Doctor
The Doctor can be unlocked by healing 200 HP in one wave.
Entrepreneur
The Entrepreneur can be unlocked by saving 3,000 materials.
Artificer
You can unlock Artificer by killing 15 enemies with one blast.
Explorer
You can unlock Explorer by cutting 50 trees.
Old
You can get the Old character by killing 300 enemies.
Mutant
You can get the Mutant character by killing 2,000 enemies.
Loud
The Loud character can be unlocked by killing 5,000 enemies.
Wildling
The Wilding character can be obtained by killing 10,000 enemies.
Gladiator
You can unlock the Gladiator by killing 20,000 enemies.
Sick
You can unlock the Sick after you reach -5%HP regeneration.
Streamer
The Streamer can be unlocked after you reach -20% movement speed.
Speedy
You can unlock the Speedy by reaching +50% movement speed.
Ghost
You will be able to unlock the Ghost when you reach +60% dodge.
Farmer
The Farmer character can be unlocked by reaching +200 harvesting stat.
Hunter
You can unlock Hunter by reaching the +300 range.
Arms Dealer
To be able to unlock the Arms Dealer, you should recycle 12 weapons in one game.
One Armed
To be able to unlock the One Armed character, you should win the game with Danger 0 difficulty.
Bull
To unlock the Bull, you need to win the game with Danger 1 difficulty.
Soldier
You need to win the game with Danger 2 difficulty to unlock the Soldier.
Masochist
To unlock the Masochist, you need to win the game with Danger 3 difficulty.
Knight
To be able to obtain the Knight character, you should win the game with Danger 4 difficulty.
Demon
To unlock the Demon, you should win the game with Danger 5 difficulty.
Lucky Charm
You should win a game with the Lucky character.
Big Arms
You have to win a game with the Generalist character.
Chopper
To unlock Chopper Weapon, you need to win a game with the Multitasker character.
Panda
You should win a game with the Pacifist character.
Padding
To unlock the Padding item, you should win a game with the Saver character.
Potato Thrower
You need to win a game with the Chunky character.
Robot Arm
To be able to unlock the Robot Arm item, you have to win a game with the Engineer character.
Medikit
You should win a game with the Doctor character. Medikit is a great item in Brotato since survivability is important as having a strong build, this item provides you +10 HP Regeneration.
Bowler Hat
To unlock the Bowler Hat item, you have to win a game with the Entrepreneur character.
Explosive Shells
The Explosive Shells item can be obtained by winning a game with the Artificer character. This item is another good choice for those of you who like explosions in video games.
Compass
To unlock the Compass item you have to win a game with the Explorer character.
Snail
The Snail item can be unlocked by winning a game with the Old character.
Octopus
You should win a run with the Mutant character to unlock the Octopus item.
Rip and Tear
The Rip and Tear item can be obtained by winning a game with the Loud character.
Hatchet
To unlock the Hatchet weapon, you should win a game with Wildling character.

The Fin item can be obtained by winning a game with the Speedy character.
Ritual
By winning a game with the Ghost character, you can unlock the Ritual item.
Wheat
To unlock the Wheat item, you should win a game with the Farmer character.
Sniper Gun
Winning a game with the Hunter character allows you to unlock the Sniper Rifle weapon in the game.
Anvil
The Anvil item can be obtained by winning a game with the Arms Dealer.
Potato
You need to win a game with the Well Rounded character to unlock the Potato item. Potato might be the only item that doesn't give a negative buff it can only be unlocked only for this reason.
Power Fist
The Power Fist weapon can be obtained by winning a game with the Brawler character.
Hunting Trophy
By winning a game with the Crazy character, you will unlock the Hunting Trophy item.
Night Goggles
Winning a game with the Ranger character allows you to unlock the Night Googles item.
Thunder Sword
You can unlock the Thunder Sword weapon by winning a game with the Mage character.
Focus
The Focus item can be unlocked by winning a game with the One Armed character.
Gnome
By winning a game with the Bull character, you can unlock the Gnome item.
Nuclear Launcher
The Nuclear Launcher weapon can be unlocked by winning a game with the Soldier character.
Spiky Shield
You can unlock the Spiky Shield weapon by winning a game with the Masochist character.
Plasma Sledgehammer
The Plasma Sledge Hammer weapon can be unlocked by winning a game with the Knight character. This weapon's hits create explosions and have decent damage, definitely worth unlocking.
Obliterator
You should win a game with the Demon character to unlock the Obligator weapon in the game.

Recommended Brotato Unlocks
Some of the items and weapons worth unlocking are Obligator, Nuclear Launcher,Gnome, and Night Goggles.
Obligator can be a great choice to unlock for playing with the Hunter character. Because this weapon is a ranged weapon and the Hunter gains one percent damage for every ten Range you have.
Nuclear Launcher can make you an unbeatable beast with the Artificer character. Because this weapon scales with both Range and Elemental Damage, and it explodes when you with the enemy with it. The Artificer character starts the game with 175 percent Explosion Damage and gains four percent Explosion Size for every Elemental Damage you have.
Gnome provides ten percent Melee and Elemental Damage, so it is a great item for weapons like Plasma Sledgehammer, Plank, and Thunder Sword. They are dealing both elemental and melee damage.
Last but not least, the Night Goggles item is one of the important items you need to have in your arsenal since it is great for ranged and crit characters. It provides a 15 percent Crit Chance and 50 Range.
