When the clock is ticking and you need to keep that tower safe in Bloons Tower Defense 6, which heroes should you count on?
PostsLater-stage rounds can be so chaotic that it's difficult to interact with certain monkeys for upgrades or changing attack orders. It can look like a fiery inferno of bullets, flame and glue. There is a way to make things a little easier both on your eyes, and your turret management.
What Is The Achievement For Small Bloons?
There are many Small Bloons in Bloons TD 6, but we're not comparing regular bloons to things like the MOABs.
Small Bloons shrink all enemy bloons, and can only be obtained through a secret achievement.
The name of the achievement is 'Alchermistman And Bloonacleboy'. Since this is a secret achievement, the name of the achievement won't be visible to you until you've completed it. It will be titled as '???' if you search through the available achievement list.
If you've already achieved it, and your bloons are normal-sized, you'll need to go through a few steps to turn the Small Bloons feature on:
- From the home screen, click the silver gear on the left.
- Click the yellow icon with the balloon picture. It will say 'Extras' underneath the icon.
- In the Settings screen, you'll want to find an entry that shows 'Small Bloons' and drag the slider to the right to activate them.
What Is The Criteria To Obtain Small Bloons?
To complete the Alchermistman and Bloonacleboy achievement, you'll need to get 900,000 bloon pops on the Alchemist unit in a single game. The single game can include free play mode after completing a game mode, but you'll need to achieve the 900,000 pops by round 100.
If you're working on the achievement, don't continue past round 100.
End the game to ensure you get the achievement if you've reached the proper bloon pop amount.
You can use any special hero, and any additional units you want, to help you achieve this. You can use any difficulty level and any of the regular maps.
Strategies To Help You Get The Achievement For Small Bloons
If lasting to round 100 seems like a daunting task, we've got some tips that might help you lock down this achievement:
- Choose a map with plenty of space for turret units.
- Maps with multiple loops can buy you extra time to defeat bloons.
We were able to get the Alchermistman And Bloonacleboy achievement using the 'In The Loop' map on Easy mode, with Gwendolin as the special hero unit.
- Place an Alchemist monkey as soon as possible.
- Keep the Alchemist monkey relatively close to the bloon entry point to maximize damage opportunities.
- Use monkeys with crowd control abilities, such as the Glue Gunner and Ice Monkey, to keep more bloons in the Alchemist's range.
- Try to upgrade your Alchemist's chosen path completely if possible. This will drastically improve the amount of damage done.
- If you typically struggle with funds to upgrade turrets, you may want to purchase a Banana Farm as soon as possible.
- If you don't have a complete path available on your Alchemist, it's a good idea to make sure you have at least one path fully unlocked.
We used the bottom path with two additional choices of Stronger Acid and Perishing Potions from the middle path.
- Select Easy mode so you have plenty of time and opportunities to gain resources.
- You can select the Alchemist on your map to view how many pops they have completed. It will be the number right under the name 'Alchemist' in the pop-up window.
- You can complete this achievement using only one Alchemist.
Try out your own strategy to unlock Small Bloons and activate them for easier turret management, less screen chaos, or just because they're cute.
