Final Fantasy 14 is one of the best MMO games to play on your PlayStation. Having finally switched from PC to PS5 and playing healer with a controller, I can say it's even better on console (unless of course, you have the highest high-end technical PC).

With Dawntrail, you can splash into the latest adventures with your Warrior of Light in a brand new area, with several improvements, including a graphics update that makes everything look even better than before.

It's a perfect stop for Ubisoft fans, but it works well if you have a little knowledge of their more popular IP. Even if you don't the game runs well enough that you'll be able to hop in and have a good time.

Divisive though it may be, Stellar Blade is one of those games you really need to try for yourself. Underneath its exterior is a stellar (get it) action title that'll have you feeling sufficiently challenged but satisfactorily rewarded at its boss fights and mechanics. If you enjoy a parry mechanic in a game, definitely keep Stellar Blade on your radar.

Enemy designs are fantastic, and character development, story, and puzzles are lackluster, but as a package, it's definitely enough to warrant a space as one of the best PS5 games of 2024 so far, despite its flaws.

If you've heard anything about the story mode, you'll know it's a ten out of ten, furthering the lore of the Tekken universe and providing a satisfying conclusion.

New mechanics and aggressive matches show that fighting games truly are making their grand return this generation. This tight, aggressive style really fits Tekken 8 and its style. There's tons of fun to be had with Tekken 8, whether you're playing casually or competitively, with fun character intros, hilarious interactions, and fun new characters. Tekken 8 is easily the best entry into the series so far. Make sure you've got a good PS5 gaming monitor to keep the game as crisp as possible.
