Star Wars Outer Rim Board Game

Fortune awaits the bold.

Star Wars: Outer Rim offers an immersive tabletop experience, inviting players to explore the galaxy's fringes. With rich narratives, diverse characters, and solo play suitability, it's a strategic adventure for dedicated fans.

Pros & Cons
  • Diverse characters and paths for replayability.
  • Captures the essence of Star Wars' fringe worlds.
  • Engaging narrative-driven gameplay, rich in story.
  • Requires strategic planning, not for casual play.
See at Amazon $80 at Walmart Expand Collapse

Star Wars: Outer Rim really nails that gritty, fringe feel of the Star Wars universe beautifully. Each time you play, it feels like you're living out a new chapter of an epic Star Wars story. You take on these really immersive character roles as bounty hunters, smugglers, and more, each with their own cool abilities and missions to chase as you adventure around the Outer Rim.

And man, between the dark and light side conflicts and managing your crew and ship upgrades, the strategy and planning elements are super engaging too.

That said, this game is far from perfect. Some of the longer campaigns can really drag at times when that initial excitement wears off. And for casual gamers or newbies, we think the strategy side could feel overwhelming until you get the hang of things.

But even with those occasional slow bits, we're all in on Outer Rim’s incredibly rich choice-driven storytelling.
