You assume the role of Amanda Ripley, who is informed that a flight recorder has been found on her mother's ship, Nostromo, and the story progresses as Amanda sets off to find out what happened to her mother.

From the moment you start this horror game, the attention to detail is incredible, as a lot of effort has been put in to replicate the original film feeling and score. The only downside, however, is that the game lacks character depth, as you never get any feeling that the characters are ever terrified.

One of the most unique features of Green Hell is that it is designed so that there's almost always something that goes horribly wrong, which makes for intense, no-nonsense survival gameplay.

8 Stalker: Call Of Pripyat

The last iteration of the Stalker series, Call of Pripyat, starts off with a recap of not only the last two versions, but also the origins of the Chernobyl expulsion zone itself.

You play as Major Degtyarev, a former stalker who is sent to the zone to investigate the mysterious disappearance of former military expeditions. As you dive into this world, your investigation gets you caught between a bunch of dangers. The gameplay doesn't deviate much from the usual survival formula found in other games.

However, as the level progresses, Rust introduces you to its blueprint system, which you must find to build better tools. The thing is, finding them might not be easy.
