Research Weaver Loom

To craft Simple Cord, the first thing you need to do is research the Weaver Loom at the Research Desk. Don't forget that before the Weaver Loom, you need to build a Foraging Camp. The materials you need to research the Weaver Loom are:

After gathering the necessary materials and researching the Weaver Loom, you must construct it. However, you will also need additional materials for the construction. Fortunately, these materials are almost the same as those required to research the Weaver Loom.

Find Required Materials

To research and build the Weaver Loom, you need four materials. You can find them as follows:

• Finding Flax is extremely easy. You can find it in most parts of the game, and the southern part of Haerndean is a particularly safe place to find it. They are purple flowers and cannot be obtained when it’s snowy, so make sure to stock up beforehand.
• Wood is also a very easy material to find; you can gather it just by wandering around. If you have a Simple Axe, you can cut down Young Trees to obtain it more easily.
• Unlike the other two materials, River Reed is not found everywhere. These plants are usually located along rivers or lakes. If you head southeast of Haerndean, you’ll see a lake, and you can find these plants around it.
• Crude Stone is also among the materials you can find everywhere. You are more likely to find it easily around multiple rock mines.

Craft Simple Cords From Weaver Loom

After building the Weaver Loom, you will be able to craft a Simple Cord. Remember that you will need one Flax for each Simple Cord. Crafting each one will take approximately 15 seconds.
