Whilst the chaotic firefights of BattleBit Remastered can be a ton of fun on your own, it’s much more enjoyable when you’re playing with friends. Plus having someone to chat to, or watch your back so you don’t get gunned down in seconds can also be a huge benefit.

PostsYour best option for this outside of creating a private Squad with your friends is to form or join a Clan in the game. There are a lot of great reasons for making your own or just jumping into one of the bigger and popular ones. So to incentivize more of you to band together, create, or sign up with a group, here’s everything you need to know about Clans in BattleBit Remastered.
What Is A Clan In BattleBit Remastered?
A Clan in BattleBit Remastered is a straightforward thing to explain. If you’re familiar at all with online multiplayer games, be that MMOs or FPS games then you’ll likely have experienced or seen Clans at some point. For those that haven’t here’s a basic breakdown.
Clans are a large collection of players that interact with each other both inside and often outside of a game. For example, they use Clan Tags to denote members of their group and some of the larger and more popular ones, such as those run by Milsim Youtuber Groups tend to have a lot of extra activities and benefits that we’ll touch on momentarily.
Benefits Of Playing In A Clan
The main benefit to playing in a Clan in BattleBit Remastered is that not only can you make larger Squads, but you’ll be part of a big group of like-minded players that you can play with together. With everyone communicating and working together instead of being gunned down every few seconds by snipers or one-man Rambos.
The other big benefit to clans, mainly for the larger ones, is that they can do special events and matches inside the game. If a Clan is large enough they can have their own BattleBit Remastered server, and most do. On these password-protected servers, you’ll usually find big themed events or matches with crazy customizations and a more Squad-orientated type of gameplay closer to something in a real mil-sim.
This is mainly down to the type of player that joins these kinds of Clans being of a certain experience level or background, i.e. they’ll play the game and not run around like heavily armed headless chickens. There’s also the sense of comradery for being part of a large group that improves the overall experience of a very hectic game. So there are a lot of benefits to joining a Clan.

PostsHow To Create A Clan In BattleBit Remastered
If all of that has piqued your interest and you’d like to set up a Clan with your friends then don’t worry as it’s a pretty straightforward and simple process. Previously you had to reach level 60, but now you’ll need to have at least ‘Prestiged’ once in order to be able to create a Clan. This was because in the past the system was a mess and the developers had to shut it down before rebuilding it from the ground up.
To Prestige in BattleBit Remastered you'll need to reach around 1500 kills with a particular weapon, which is not that easy to do. But after you have that high honor, go into the Clan sub-menu that’s at the top of the screen then choose the option to create a new Clan. You can then put whatever name you like for your group as well as the shortened tag. There are also options for customizing the color of your group's tag and even a Clan image, it’s a simple system but it’s got a decent amount of customization options.
If you're having a hard time leveling up to Prestige, try Public Custom Multiplayer Servers as they often have absurdly high XP gain set by the Server owners.
How To Join A Clan In BattleBit Remastered
If you don’t want to create your own Clan or don’t have the manpower to fill up your own then you can always just join one. It’s pretty easy to join a Clan in BattleBit Remastered and it’ll usually only take you a few minutes to do so.
To join a Clan in BattleBit Remastered, again go into the Clan sub-menu at the top of the screen, and on the right next to Create Clan will be the option Join Clan. Select this and then enter an invite code for a specific clan that was sent to you by the group leader or another member.
Or you could use an external website that specializes in advertising Clans that are recruiting, BattleBit Remastered fan discord groups, or even Reddit threads. There are plenty of people advertising their groups. Or if there’s a specific Clan you want to join they’ll usually have a forum somewhere, or a YouTube video explaining the process of joining.
