As you journey back to New Eden Town, you'll come across different places, starting with the Hunter's Camp in the Dark Woods. Here, you'll find your first locked chest, needing a key to open it.

How To Unlock The Trapper Reserves Chest

When you first reach the Hunter's Camp in the Dark Woods, you'll have a conversation with Kate, whom you met earlier in the game. She'll explain the camp situation and the trouble they face with the Beast.

After finishing the conversation, you'll notice a locked chest nearby that requires a key to unlock it.

Fortunately, the key isn't far from the chest and is quite easy to miss.

During the main quest called Woodfolks, you'll receive an objective to find your shelter, where you can rest and upgrade your equipment. The shelter is located north of the camp, and you can easily identify it by the blue flame torch outside.

Once you find it, head inside, and just to the left side, you'll find an item on the table. Pick it up, and you'll obtain the Key to Trapper Reserves.

With this key, you can return to the locked chest and unlock it using the key you just collected. The reward from the chest is your very first Brooch equipment item called Aureola.
