Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced is a game filled with collectibles and treasure that you'll stumble across throughout your journey in the Caribbean. From secret chests to paintings to plans that improve your ship's weaponry, it's fairly easy to lose a lot of time hunting for new gear.

However, not everything will be marked on your map, as there are some secrets you can miss entirely if you're not observant. One of these is a secret vendor who sells a bunch of items, including an outfit for your crew that will turn them into skeletons. So if you want to embrace your inner Captain Barbosa, here is where to find the vendor and how to unlock the Deceased Crew Attire.

Secret Vendor Location And Inventory

Thankfully, finding the vendor is actually pretty simple, as it's located in a low-difficulty region, and you won't need to fight through any enemies to reach it. You will want to head to coordinates 551, 639 to a small island that is south of Andreas Island and northeast of Salt Key Bank. This isn't a named island, and it will not have any fast travel spots, so you'll need to sail there every time you want to reach this vendor.

If you're struggling to find it, make sure to keep an eye out for the plumes of smoke coming from the fire outside of the vendor. This can make locating this tiny island much easier — especially at night, where you can sail right by it if you're not careful. Once you land on the island, go up to the vendor and speak to him to browse his unique wares.

Obviously, if you want to turn your crew into a bunch of skeletons, you'll want to purchase the Deceased Crew Attire. This outfit isn't available anywhere else, and unfortunately, unlocking this cosmetic will be quite the grind.

Keep in mind the Deceased Crew Attire provides no in-game benefits and is strictly cosmetic. Your undead followers can still die, somehow.

How To Unlock The Skeleton Crew Outfit

In order to unlock the Deceased Crew Attire, you will need to collect 206 Bones, which are obtained by killing animals and skinning their bodies or by purchasing them from the Treasure Dealer at the Great Inagua. For the former, you will obtain one bone (two if you have the Exotic Sea Shells trinket equipped) whenever you skin an animal or kill a harpooned fish.

Because of this, you will want to pick specific locations for farming animals, as there are quite a few towns and islands that may not have any or such a minuscule amount that it won't be worth the trouble. I recommend limiting your hunting grounds to the Great Inagua (814,349), Cape Bonavista (156,586), Tulum (34,281), Sacrifice Island (15, 545), and Nassau (594,756).

Of these locations, Nassau and Cape Bonavista are the best places to farm animals due to their close proximity to one another, making it easy to quickly clear out an area. Unfortunately, it takes a bit of time for the animals to return after death, as simply reloading the island or fast traveling and then immediately returning won't respawn them.

You also buy bones for 1,000 Reales a piece from the Treasure Dealer. This vendor is unlocked once you've captured the island of Great Inagua and spoken to the man on the docks with the necklace icon over his head. Speak with him to build the Treasure Dealer stall, and then select the Buy option when in his inventory screen.

Way at the bottom will be bones, which you can purchase up to 32 of them. However, this will cost a ton of money and may not be worth it unless you want to reduce some of the grind for this cosmetic. Remember, you can only change your Crew's appearance once you've bought this outfit by interacting with the model ship in the Jackdaw's Captain's Quarters or at any Harbourmaster in the game.
