The world is out to get you in Aska, from getting a splinter when cutting down a tree to fending off skeleton attacks on your village. Thankfully, there are a bunch of different ways to heal in the game: eating garlic found while you forage in the woods, resting in a shelter, or using the Healer's Hut, will help you (and your NPCs) stay healthy - regardless of how many enemies have turned up in your town.
This guide covers every method to heal in the game. Starting with garlic and onion!
Early Game Healing
The simplest way to heal in the early game is to eat garlic and onion, which can be found while foraging in the woods. They will replenish your health for a short period of time.
Combine this with resting in a shelter and you can regain health very quickly. NPCs will also eat onion and garlic straight from the Gatherer's Hut if you've been collecting vegetables and storing them there. You can also trade the items directly into your NPC's inventory if they're looking a little unhealthy.
Healing items do stack, which means you can eat a lot of garlic and onion while fighting enemies.
Onion and garlic also drop seeds when harvested, which can be planted on the farm plots. This will provide you with a reliable source of healing items.
Healing Hut
As your village expands, you'll be able to construct the Healing Hut - a place where you can replenish your health quickly with medicines, alongside your NPCs. The attacks on your settlement begin to ramp up the more villagers you have, and without proper defenses, your allies are bound to end up getting hurt. You can assign a healer to the healing hut to handle your NPCs.
