No matter how simple a game's concept is, it can still have plenty of challenges and a learning curve to it, and Anger Foot's no different. The name of the game is kicking enemies to death, and you'll do a fair amount of shooting too, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.

PostsRunning with guns – and feet – blazing can work for a bit, but enemies are going to get tougher and introduce new mechanics. Whether you've just picked up the game, or you're several stages in, we've got some tips for you if you're having trouble dealing with the multitude of bat-wielding, gun-toting, and crime-loving enemies.
Check Those Corners And Closed Rooms
Enemies come at you hard and fast, and most often, depending on their behavior, they'll go straight for you with bats, guns, and whatever else they can throw at you – often literally. Most times you'll get a group of enemies to a room, and that's it.
You may think a room is empty, then you get shot in the back because an enemy was hiding in a kitchen, a closet, or even sitting in a restroom stall. Always check the corners of a room and any restroom stalls, preferably with a kick or a thrown gun, to make sure an enemy's not hiding.
You can tell if a stall has an enemy by checking for their feet beneath the door, as they generally won't shoot until you actually go by or open the door.
It could save you from an early death, or help prevent the loss of a shoe's one-time-a-stage ability, like the Holy Shoe's revival on your first death.
Throw Empty Guns For A Stun
Ammo isn't infinite in this game. As soon as a gun runs out of bullets, that's it – you better find a new gun, or be prepared to go at it feet-only. So you'll be throwing away plenty of guns as you go through levels, but they have a useful mechanic you can make use of: a stunning attack.
The Scavengers can help with the finite ammo on hand, as they let you get a bullet back every time you kick an enemy.
If you throw a gun at an enemy or a group of them clumped together, it will stun them for around two to three seconds, and that time could be the difference between you needing to restart the level, or staying alive to beat it.
If you know you don't have another gun nearby, you can kick down a door and toss your gun immediately, or as soon as you see an enemy. The stun will give you some extra time to react and assess the situation, and likely net you an easier kill.
Pick The Right Shoe For The Mission
As you gain more Objective Stars, you will unlock more shoes and each one has a unique ability. You may be tempted to run Barefoot the whole game, or stick to the same shoe, but sometimes you may want to switch it up.
Some stages, especially as the game progresses, reward you for using certain pairs of shoes as an objective, or you may find that a shoe's specific ability helps you out with the stage's gimmick. For example, the Clogged stage in the Pollution Gang section has goons pulling you into slime frequently.
Shoes can also make getting objective stars easier, like if you need headshots, you can wear the Brain Expanders, and the Slide Kickers are great for speedrunning objectives.
Most shoes do just fine, but the Thrusters give you a double jump, and they do a great job at keeping you out of the slime if you fall in, and give you some extra height to get to certain enemies.
Time Isn't Everything
Doing a level as fast as you can is one of the mechanics in Anger Foot, especially on certain levels where an objective requires youto beat the level in a certain amount of time. Sometimes it may even want you to do it without jumping, or wearing certain shoes.
On levels without that objective? The time is ticking down, but you can spend as much time as you want on the level. And on some stages, you'll actually want to take each room as carefully and slowly as possible to meet certain objectives, like making sure nothing explodes.
Don't rush yourself if your mission time is getting high, unless you're doing one of the speedrunning objectives. You're more likely to make a costly mistake and end up dying if you run in and try to push through when you're worrying about time.
Create A Chokepoint If You Need
In some stages, you'll have several waves of enemies to fight, and you'll generally be confined to one or two rooms while dealing with them. You may be able to use cover in the room to fight them, but later on, enemies get tougher, and they'll use cover too, or run around to bypass your cover.
If that happens, and you can't catch a break inside the room, then find a room, create a chokepoint, and then let the enemies come to you. As long as the enemies get a peek at you, they'll eventually come for you, even if they prefer to stay at range.
You don't have to peek at some enemies like the Crocodiles, but others, like the Pyramid-heads, will approach quicker if you do give them a look at you.
This can give you time to avoid some damage and pick off the enemies that are a pain to deal with if they're alongside other enemies, like the pyramid-headed goons who use an assault rifle or the gimp-masked goons that crawl on walls and ceilings.
