To craft wool, you need resources that you can gather at the islands easily. However, there is a lot more processing required to get your desired wool fabrics. Using the wool sails, you can go much further by riding your home island. Using wool threads, you can also craft a Loom which you need to process other fabrics.

How To Craft Shears

To craft Shears, you need the following resources:

  • One Carved Wood
  • Two Hardstones

These can be found on Emerald Isles islands, which you gain access to when you start the game. To get Hardstoneslook for black square nodes in the area and use your pickaxe to break them.

The Stone Pickaxe can be crafted with one sharp stone, one stone, and one wood.

To get Carved Wood, you need to combine three Wood and one Hardstone on your workbench. You can then finally make your Shears.

How To Get Wool

If you venture to Emerald Isles, you will often find a few Sheep or Alpacas roaming around. You can take these animals back to your farm by using Hay and care for them. Eventually, they will grow wool, which you can take by using Shears by standing next to them. They will regrow wool repeatedly if you feed them well.

If you find sick animals, you can cure them by using Antidotes.

Where To Use Wool

Wool is a useful resource as it lets you craft useful machinery such as the Loom and Spinner. To make Wool Cloth, you need to build the Loom using Wool Threads.

After getting Wool Cloth, you can use it to make Wool Sails. You cannot get to the second Biome namely Fallen Heights without them. You can craft the following types of sails.
