Bones is an important resource in Aloft if you want to get your hands on late-game gear and materials. However, you will find it scarcely in Red Cliffs, which is the third Biome. The area is inspired by the summer season, so it's quite hot to explore. Under these parching conditions, you will find bones of supposedly dead habitats.

Bones have a variety of uses, and you can use them for customization purposes by making pigments. However, we recommend making useful gear out of them, which will help you defeat tough enemies and collect other materials in the challenging islands.

How To Get Bones

Bones is a late-game resource that you can obtain after you reach the third Biome. You will find them scattered on Red Cliff islands. However, they can be a bit rare to find. So, you will need to take your ship to explore many isles found here. Bones can be collected if an ecosystem is completely pure.

You will not be able to gather small skeletal remains in unhealthy ecosystems. You can only pick larger bones in purified areas.

How To Use Bones

Bones are used to make Sharp Bones, which you can craft by using two bones and a Hardstone. If you combine bones and other useful materials, you can get a set of Bone Tools and Weapons.
