PostsBy interacting with the Treasure Troves, one can unlock them if they have the right key, and there are plenty of those to be found across this tragedy-struck continent. If your exploration instinct speaks louder, you can claim those treasures by yourself, as long as you know where to look.
All Ligneus Treasure Trove Locations
You can find a total of 12 Treasure Troves in the first region of Ligneus. They are often placed next to Shrines of Prayer or other ruins, or might even be surrounded by fierce monsters, so beware.
There's no correct order to open them, so go for whichever is nearest for you. Opening a Trove requires a Treasure Trove Key.
The final two Treasure Troves in this list cannot be accessed right away and are only available after you explore a certain portion of the Sivash region. The quest Village Exploration will show you the way to the previously inaccessible zone in Ligneus.
Secret Garden
CloseYou can either teleport to Secret Garden and drop down to the Trove, or head north from the Ligneus Survey Base, using the Zipline to reach it faster.
Guiding Cape
CloseFrom the Secret Garden teleport, head east and start climbing the cliffs to reach it. You won't be able to climb it from the Campside teleport, so the longer route is the only option.
Margo Woodlands
CloseTake the Woodland Gateway teleport and head north until you reach the Trove.
Earthen Veins Grotto
CloseRight next to the teleport. Head north, and you'll see it amidst the rocks.
Alber Settlement
CloseDrop from the Alber Settlement teleport to find it on the lower grounds of the buildings.
Great Tree Tendrils (North)
CloseRight next to the teleport, just a few steps away from it.
Great Tree Tendrils (South)
CloseFollow the path down the river from the Great Tree Tendrils teleport until you see it.
Oblie Plateau
CloseHead north from the Oblie Plateau teleport, and use the Burst Ammo to break the sturdy walls guarding the Treasure Trove.
Fallen Tower Entrance
CloseRight in front of the teleport, quite easy to spot.
Eremito Valley
CloseHead to Eremito Valley, then follow the river upward to see the Trove.
To reach the two remaining Troves, located in the southeast portion of the map, you need to progress through the Village Exploration quest available in Sivash.
Abandoned Village Center
CloseHead south from the Abandoned Village Center teleport, then turn left as soon as the stairs are gone.
Pagus Mountain Trail
CloseUse the Pagus Mountain Trail teleport, then jump down in the Trove's direction.
How To Get Treasure Trove Keys
The keys to these ancient temples can be found by exploring the continent's various ruins. You'll usually get a few of those inside chests in the Manabound areas you clear during the main quests, but many of them are found inside the simple nameless ruins around the map.
A good example is the Dux Lighthouse, where you can find keys both inside the main ruins and also in the nearby smaller ruins, hidden behind a puzzle. If you explore enough, you'll often end up with more keys than Treasure Troves to open.
If you end up needing some extra keys, you can always take a quick trip to any ruins to see if you missed anything. If you don't see a pink checkmark underneath the ruin's symbol on the map, it means there's still something to be found in there, and that something might be a key.
