The One Piece world is known for pirates with superpowers having over-the-top action-packed fights. Characters become powerful in all kinds of ways. Haki, cyborg bodies, and good hard work can propel you into the realms of the superhuman. The easiest way is to eat a Devil Fruit, a mythical piece of fruit that grants the eater a specific power.

A record-breaking manga and beloved anime series, One Piece has amassed a huge collection of games, and here are the best titles so far.
PostsThe power obtained depends on the fruit eaten, with three main categories being Logia, Zoan, or most commonly, Paramecia, which gives whoever eats it a specific ability, such as turning their body parts into wheels or being able to swim through solid ground. Read below to find out which ones are the cream of the crop. Oh, and if you're wondering where Luffy's fruit is? If you don't mind spoilers, it's a little different.
8 Perona - Horo Horo no Mi
You Don't Stand A Ghost Of A Chance
Eaten by Perona, the Hollow-Hollow Fruit transformed her into a Hollow Human, empowering her to conjure and control ghosts so she can use them for a variety of effects. Intangible and able to fly, she can link her consciousness to them to create a spy network, and can also cause them to explode, damaging opponents.
The most powerful use of the ghosts is to have them pass through someone, draining all the positivity out of them. When this happens they fall to their knees in a bout of self-loathing, completely unable to fight, and the only way to overcome this is to already be negative about yourself so that no change occurs, a weakness Perona never expected to encounter.
7 Gecko Moria - Kage Kage no Mi
You're Sure To Be Overshadowed
The Shadow-Shadow Fruit, eaten by Gecko Moria, lets him manifest shadows physically; he can steal a person's shadow and insert it into a lifeless body, creating a zombie minion with the fighting abilities of the shadow's owner. Through this, Moria can constantly add to his forces, especially on a battlefield where enemies and corpses are abundant.
Moria is also able to use his own shadow as an invulnerable combatant with shape-changing abilities, can instantly swap places with it wherever it is, and even infuse himself with the shadows of others, increasing his power. However, this fruit has a lot of rules to how it works, leaving it with a long list of weaknesses, and given that Moria had largely given up on its strength it was probably never used to full effect, making its true strength hard to gauge.
6 Bartholemew Kuma - Nikyu Nikyu no Mi
When Push Comes To Shove, Kuma Comes Out On Top
The Paw-Paw Fruit is an example of the user being able to use their power on concepts, rather than just the world around them. It allows the one who ate it, Kuma, to push things away with the paws on his hands. so he can deflect attacks or even send people flying across the world.

From Robin to Ace, One Piece has a wide array of characters that deserve their own video game.
PostsWhere it gets interesting is that Kuma can push things like pain and fatigue out of someone, and then into someone else. He's even been shown as capable of pushing out his own memories, and while the exact limit on this isn't known, it has almost endless potential.
5 Donquixote Doflamingo - Ito Ito no Mi
He's Got Strings To Hold You Down
The String-String Fruit does not sound powerful but was elevated by its user Doflamingo, as he's one of few people known to have Awakened his power, bringing it to a new level. Able to control strings, a seemingly weak ability, Doflamingo is a terrifying force who can cut through almost anything with the strings he creates, or attach them to people and puppet them.
He can also create clones of himself made from string, use the string to stitch together his wounds, attach them to clouds to effectively fly, and a host of other uses. He proves that even a power that may seem like it won't stack up against strong opponents can be devastating if you're creative enough with it.
4 Jewelry Bonney - Unnamed Fruit
You're Only As Old As She Makes You Feel
The name for this fruit hasn't been revealed, but it allows Jewelry Bonney to manipulate the age of anything or anyone. She can age her enemies to the point where they're too old to fight her, or turn them into crying babies and walk right by them.
Where it gets wild is that she can choose which version of their past or future selves she can transform someone. She could take a legend like Garp and revert him to his prime, or age someone with potential into the strongest self they could become.
3 Sugar - Hobi Hobi no Mi
She Toys With Her Opponents
The Hobby-Hobby Fruit is honestly terrifying, as it grants the eater eternal youth, which is incredible by itself. This can be seen by the fact that Sugar, the powers' wielder, still has the body of a child despite being in her twenties, and she can also transform anyone she touches into a toy and set rules that they have to follow.

Set sail for One Piece with the Card Game's most valuable Straw Hat Pirates.
PostsThe thing that makes this so powerful is that the existence of anyone she turns into a toy is completely erased from the memory of everyone who had ever even heard of them. If used on the right person, Sugar could completely change the world by making everyone forget them, so if this happened to a major figure like the Marine Fleet Admiral or a Yonko there's no telling what chaos might ensue.
2 Big Mom - Soru Soru no Mi
She Can Control Your Soul
The Soul-Soul Devil Fruit allows the user to interact with and manipulate souls, a power mostly seen used by Big Mom even if she didn't technically eat the fruit. She uses the power to pull peoples' souls free from their bodies, either entirely or partially by reducing their lifespan, and the only rule to that is that her target needs to fear her, but given that Big Mom is feared the world over there are only a few examples of someone proving themselves immune.
With the souls she takes, she can empower inanimate objects, giving them life and creating loyal servants. This is usually used to create Beauty & The Beast style living furniture but has also been used on thunderclouds, a sword, and even fire, so the more soul energy Big Mom pumps into something, the stronger it becomes, especially if she uses her soul rather than the soul of someone else.
1 Trafalgar Law - Ope Ope no Mi
The Doctor Is In
The Surgeon of Death, Trafalgar D. Water Law, is the wielder of the accurately named Op-Op Fruit, which lets whoever eats it create blue spheres that can do almost anything. Law has used his power to make people swap bodies, perform incredible surgeries, rearrange people's body parts, and even steal their hearts, which lets him make someone a long-term hostage.
What makes this Devil Fruit sometimes called the Ultimate Devil Fruit is that the user can exchange their own life to grant someone else eternal youth, so the assumption among fans is this means eternal life, rather than youth, making someone truly immortal. If the Op-Op Fruit really can grant immortality then it's almost certainly the most powerful Paramecia type out there; otherwise, it wouldn't be that much more revered than Sugar's Hobi Hobi no Mi.
