A bunch of Fortnite collabs have seemingly been leaked, including One Piece, Final Fantasy 7, and Spider-Man. If true, we might start seeing these crossovers very soon, as it seems the Final Fantasy characters would be added to celebrate the launch of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth later this month.

This comes from the rumour mill section of the Xbox Era podcast, so take it with a pinch of salt. However, one of the hosts says they were given the list of collabs by one of their sources, and was at least confident enough in this source to share the news with viewers.

Here is the full list of characters and collabs that Xbox Era says are coming to Fortnite at some point in the future:

  • Doc Ock from Spider-Man
  • Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
  • He-Man and Skeletor
  • Peacemaker
  • Robin from Batman
  • Magneto, Colossus, and Cyclops from X-Men
  • The Fantastic Four
  • One Piece

Seeing so many Marvel crossovers isn't particularly surprising, given that Disney just invested $1.5 billion in Epic Games. It's not completely clear what the companies are planning right now, but in any case, we can expect to see Fortnite used to boost Disney products, like the upcoming Fantastic Four film.

One Piece is certainly one of the biggest names on the list, prompting a lot of excitement online. Getting to play as Final Fantasy 7 characters is also getting many fans excited, especially as we're not too far off from Rebirth's launch on February 29.

None of these collaborations have been officially confirmed by Epic Games at the time of writing. This would also be a lot to cram into a year, so we might have to wait a while to see if the crossovers pan out. Xbox Era stressed that they couldn't share any dates.

That being said, Fortnite has had a packed few months already, so it wouldn't be unlike Epic to run a lot of events in such a short space of time. Fortnite OG was quickly followed by another huge update that gave us Fortnite Festival, making that a great time for players. We've already had some big crossovers this year too, with Metal Gear Solid and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Then, if you chuck whatever this Disney partnership ends up being on top of all this, Fortnite is set to have an incredibly busy year ahead of itself - as does its playerbase.
