With these steps, you'll be collaborating on your base in no time, creating a shared space to store resources, craft gear, and weather the Once Human storm together. Let's dive in.
How To Grant Base Building Permission
You can grant your friends or fellow hivemates permission to build on your base. There are two main ways to do this. You can either go through your friends list or the hive list (if you're part of one).
Through the friends list, simply find your friend's name, right-click it, and choose Friends Permissions. Here, you can choose the permission level you want to grant. Allow Build gives them complete control to modify your base, while Allow Storage lets them access storage containers and crafting stations.
You can also access these permission settings by walking up to your friend in-game and pressing Z.
The Hive List method works similarly. Find the player's name, right-click, and choose Friends Permissions to set their access level. Remember to choose the permission level that best suits your needs. Allow Build is ideal for trusted friends you want to build with and Allow Storage is useful for sharing resources.
