To build an automatic door, you will need the following components:
- Automatic Door
- Solar Generator
- Wall or ground terminal
- Switch
- Dynamic Sensor
To get a Solar Generator, and a wall or ground terminal, you will need to buy the 'Solar Generator' memetics from the 'Logistics' tree.
Next in the tree following the 'Solar Generator' memetics is the 'Electrical Kit,' which unlocks the switch, Dynamic Sensor, and three types of automatic doors. While all automatic doors operate using the same mechanics, they differ in appearance.
Once you have bought both memetics, you are set to build an automatic door in the game.
How To Connect Automatic Door Wiring
Unlocking all the necessary components is important, but connecting the wires properly is crucial. First, you must build a wall or ground terminal near the automatic door and connect it to the Solar Generator. After that, follow the sequence we have mentioned below.
- Connect a Dynamic Sensor to the wall or ground terminal
- Connect the switch to the Dynamic Sensor
- Connect the switch to the door
Do not connect the door to the Dynamic Sensor. You will hear a clicking sound whenever the Dynamic Sensor finds you but the automatic door opening and closing process will not work as intended. Therefore, leave this task for the switch.
This ensures that the Dynamic Sensor will detect whenever you are in range and will send a signal to the switch. The switch will then send a signal to the door, and it will open or close the automatic door automatically.
