The Frostwyrm Bow is easily one of the best ranged weapons in the game, especially early on. But obtaining it can be extremely challenging, especially if you don't know where to look for it. If you're not specifically looking for this weapon, you might never find it because of how out of sight this weapon really is.

Where To Find The Frostwyrm Bow

To obtain the Frostwyrm Bow, you'll have to head to the top-right corner of the map, near Dive Rock. If you're following the main story, you can teleport to Azura's Shrine, and from there you can head east until you reach Aerin's Camp.

From there, you have to go further east and start making your way towards the north until you see Dive Rock appear on your compass. You don't have to go inside Dive Rock, but search in its vicinity until you find a glowing frost troll.

You'll find this troll standing near the corpse of Agnar the Unwavering, around 100 steps to the east of the Dive Rock.

How To Fight Against Uderfrykte Matron

This unique troll, named Uderfrykte Matron, is tough to fight against. Refrain from using fire spells or enchanted weapons that deal fire damage against this enemy. You can gain an advantage in this battle by using a bow and doing a sneak attack from a distance.

If you use a fire spell or any type of fire-enchanted weapon against the Uderfrykte Matron, the glowing energy on its skin will disappear, and the frost troll will turn nearly invisible, making the fight even more of a challenge.

After defeating the troll, you can loot the Frostwyrm Bow from its corpse. You'll also find a full Fur Armor set, alongside Svenja's remains. Furthermore, you can find a Silver War Axe near Angar the Unwavering's corpse.

The Frostwyrm Bow deals 15 additional frost damage on each successful hit on the enemy.

If you get this weapon later on in the game, it might not be as effective compared to other late-game bows. But if you can get this weapon in the early game, it can prove to be exceptionally useful and carry you throughout a large portion of the game.
