No Rest for the Wicked is a unique blend of difficult Soulslike combat, randomized loot often found in ARPGs like Diablo, and survival crafting elements. Slowly building up your character as you explore the island of Sacra is extremely satisfying, only strengthened by the town-building aspects.

No matter what you do in No Rest for the Wicked, you'll be collecting tons of weapons, armor, materials, and consumables. You'll very quickly realize that you don't have nearly enough room to store it all, and the community chest in the Rookery Tower is only a temporary solution. Luckily, you can upgrade your inventory using a specific item, which we'll go into detail on below.

How To Increase Inventory Size

To increase your inventory space, you'll need to spend one Plague Ichor at the Watcher in the Rookery Tower, in Sacrament. Spending Plague Ichors here will let you choose one of eight different inventory categories to increase. The following upgrades are available.

  • +5 Gear Inventory Slots
  • +5 Item Inventory Slots
  • +5 Resource Inventory Slots
  • +5 Misc Inventory Slots
  • +1 Mainhand Slot
  • +1 Offhand Slot
  • +1 Ring Slot
  • +1 Tool Slot

You need a total of 19 Plague Ichor to fully unlock every inventory slot.

How To Get Plague Ichor

As you can imagine, Plague Ichor is an extremely valuable resource that makes gathering items in the game more convenient.

Plague Ichor drops from bosses and mini-bosses, like Warrick the Torn, who you get your first Plague Ichor from. There are a number of different bosses you face during the main story of the game, but if you only used the Plague Ichor from these bosses you'd quickly run out.

Luckily, you can also get Plague Ichor from Captain Randolph's Weekly Bounty targets. As the name suggests, these Bounties are refreshed each week in real-world time.

You can find Captain Randolph near the Whisper in Sacrament.

Alternatively, if you don't want to wait a week for Randolph's Bounties to refresh, you can create a new Realm, then speed run through it until you kill Warrick the Torn, enter Sacrament, and unlock Bounties. Then, complete each of Randolph's Weekly Bounties and repeat this process for a fast and easy three Plague Ichor.

This method for farming Plague Ichor is endlessly repeatable, so you can max out your inventory space early on in the game and never have to worry about it again.
